Time is Long Past this Country "Cuts Ties" with Any Space Travel, and then Takes a serious Look at the FAA & BOEING, Going forward. They are a disgrace.

These two Astronauts are stranded for How Many Months in Space after Boeing was Awarded a Massive Contract?

Boeing will cancel the Starliner. They are not happy that NASA made this a fixed cost contract. They assumed NASA would keep shoveling money at them.

NASA expects them to fix the problems on Boeing's money, Boeing only got twice the funding Spacex got, and they want more government money to fix all the failures.

The good news for Elon is they probably will not arrest him until after the September launch of the rescue ship.

Aww that's just spaceships.
Watch any mounted military convoy attempting to go a ways anywhere down a highway from point A to point B. That is just not happening without mechanical failure..

Something we take for granted in our vehicles because that's pretty much a have to have given for us to operate.
So that's how we roll, out of necessity.

You'd think that the World's finest military could roll heavy anywhere they wanted to go.

Just not happening.

How does a failing company (McD) take over a company that had the world by the balls??? More of the it doesn't make sense category.
Ask K-Mart how they bought Sears/Craftsman.

Or Chrysler how MB (who was failing at the time, damn near broke and building shitty vehicles) bought Chrysler. Chrysler had $7Billion in the bank as reserves and was going like gang busters. That $7 Billion went to MB and they ran Chrysler into the ground.

At Boeing, Muckity-mucks in the "C" suite made bank. Move headquarters to Shitchago and certain share holders made some money and a once proud and damn good airplane manufacturer went to hell.

My wife is an old school Boeing share holder. Her grand parents bought stock in Boeing in 1962 the year my wife was born as a gift for their new grand daughter. She has held it ever since.

They used to pay dividends. Not so for the last 4 years and into the future. She would like to sell but her cost basis, at the time of purchase (1962) would actually show as a gain for us financially.

Boeing stock in 1962 was .68 cents a share when purchased.

My wife was also a Chrysler share holder. Same Grand parents bought her Chrysler stock. Her Grand father was freind of Walter Chrysler. Don't mention the name Robert Eaton around my wife.

Wife's grand father taught his grand daughters how to invest at a very young age. He was a very wise man. He was President of of a company called Arabol. He was from Austria. They knew how to use Casien for adhesives (Glue/paint) Arablol was bought out by a dairy company (Borden) Oddly enough Casien (from cows) is used to make glue and paint additives Arabol also made paint. For ships. Paint that would stick to big ships in salt water.

Borden was a dairy company originally. Since they had tons of extra milk & fat, purchasing a company that knew what to do with it made sense. Ever wonder how Elmers glue came to be?

Because slimey bean counters are better at a financial takeover than engineers and production designers. However they are dogshit at actually building the product.

That and moving their headquarters from Seattle to Chicago. How many planes do they build in Chicago?
