Boat race's Elsinore channel

Has anybody heard of this? I caught rumor this weekend the 28th and 29th. 3 dollar gate fee, if this is true, and the weather is warm, sounds like a good time.:thumbsup

I would say the west shore that is where they sit during the wakeboard deals.Veiw is great from either side awesome place to watch a race imo.

The specating area will be in the channel on the dike. Go to the stadium parking lot.

Food/Alcohol Restriction: No outside spectator ice chests or coolers may be brought to the race course. No spectator food or beverages will be allowed in. Food and alcohol vendors will be present at this event.

Kind of a screwed up rule but I guess they are trying to make it good for the vendors too, hope the drinks are cheap. Wrist bands will be used so you can always go back to your car for a break :champagne:

This weekend will be insane. I think there is 4 Alcohol Hydro set and like 8 alcohol flats. I think last count was just over 80 boats preregisterd. Stop by the 999 pits and say hi:champagne:

It does suck but you do what ever you have to do to get the race back there. NJBA put a TON of work in to making this event happen again:thumbsup

Yes they have been putting a lot of effort into this race, I'll be out there tomorrow helping set up. And yes 80 registered boats already and I am sure there will be quite a few registering friday at the site.

Be sure to cover during as well as post race refreshments... Water, soda, gatorade in addition to the Barley pops

Otherwise you end up w/ a really pissed off driver, as everyone else is drinking:swear
