It had 2 of ours in it for a long time. Really bummed! Something in the mid cabin lit up above the fuel tanks from preliminary info.

I've always wondered about this. All boats have fuel vents and I've actually had one of mine overflow because the tank was full and that side of the boat was sitting in the sun. It was on the trailer in front of my house and I walked out front and smelled gas. Sure as shit it was pouring out the vent. Combine that with sometimes when I take the full cover off the boat and it is windy outside that thing has been known to light me up with static electricity.:yikes

Boat was rigged by the best, and motor were built by the best. Very very sad day for the owner I am sure. But being properly insured insures that days like this don't ruin your future days. I parked them at the street fair yesterday. So long as they walked, the boat can be replaced.

WTF? Boat fire is no joke. Your questioning is a total dick move.
I had a fire DS2014 and remember telling my wife take the key to the car if it flairs up jump into lake. We got lucky and it was contained and out out after 2 fire extinguishers were emptied into it. I got lucky because I saw where it was. Mine was caused by the power steering pump failing and oil going everywhere and igniting.
Based on what I heard that night at the card turn in event these guys could not see where the flames were coming from or what was causing it.
