well I was walking around the boardwalk with some friends and we ran into a guy name Dallas who owns the Blue Chair restaurant and soon to open the Blue Chair Trading Co which will have Blue Chair merch as well as Havasu merch. Anyway back to the restaurant. Talking with Dallas we asked him what was good to order? He gave us the rundown which I will touch on late in this post.

As we walked in it was obvious this place is themed and decorated after the song “Old Blue Chair” by Kenny Chesney. It also has touches of Lake Havasu as well

The bar top also has old Havasu memorabilia from early Havasu days.

We walked in and were immediately greeted with a nice smile and how are you? We decided to sit at the bar as we were hot and even though the patio has misters and fans with a view of the channel we wanted to cool off inside as it was 110 outside.

The bartender immediately greeted us and asked if we have been in before and recommend two popular drinks. Both of which I ordered.

First is the Island Girl

Fresh fruit very light to drink but still had a nice punch with the alcohol. It also was $8 which was not bad for a specialty drink. Fresh juices and fruit were used as well. Sweet but very refreshing.

Next up was the Beach Monkey

This was also sweet but had a lot more sour in it. This was also very good and made with fresh ingredients. I did prefer the island girl however.

Here is the special drink menu so you can see what’s in the two I had as well as the others!

Now with the food, we ordered the pulled pork Nachos on Dallas’s recommendation. He was right. Spicy mango salsa. Pulled pork that was extremely savory sweet with a little kick at the end and a lot of food! Fresh cut jalapeños and other ingredients. Really good dish. I really liked the mango salsa that came with it

Now the fun part. We also ordered a burger called the “trust me” burger. This burger has 1/2 lb Patty, peanut butter and strawberry Jam, bacon, and vanilla ice cream all within the bun. Again on Dallas’ recommendation. Truely is a “trust me” it’s good!!! This burger is super rich and imo must be shared. I could barely eat a 1/4 of the burger. One cuz I ate a lot of the nachos but two because it’s very rich.

Each bite and chew a flavor profile comes out and does a boom in your mouth.

Boom ice cream!
Chew
Boom peanut butter
Chew
Boom bacon!!!

It was unreal and “trust me” order this burger!!!!

The garlic Parmesan fries were also prefect and extremely tasty!!!

Overall this place was clean, new, nicely done and the staff was truely Amazing! The food and drinks were extremely delicious and I will most definitely be back! Very impressed with this operation and hope the level of excellence stays!

Great review. We've enjoyed it every time we've been there. True story . My mom was there with a bunch of let's say senior ladies, and one looks down at one of the random pictures glued in the bar and it was her on double skies at about 14. Had no clue how it got there.

We went there about a month ago, the food was really good but it took too long for drinks and the second round took even longer. But the food, vibe & view was great. Not sure why restaurants aren’t all over keeping the drinks flowing, that’s where they make most of their money??

Been there a few times. Last time we went I got the pulled pork tacos and they were great. First 2 times I was 50/50 on it.

Can't beat the views and the Blue Van on tap.

Dallas’s new spot is one if Stacy’s favorites!

I have only been there once but it was great when I ate there!

He also runs the rubber ducky tours and some other things if I’m not mistaken.

Dallas is a stand up gentlemen. He knows how to cater to the Havasu lifestyle after running Kokomo’s for several years. Great guy...

Been there a couple of times. Everything has been good that we had ordered. Definitely one of our favorites. Plus right on the water you can enjoy the boats going through the channel.

Been once. There were 10 of us. I ordered only fries. Watched every table around us get food for 40 minutes. When we asked where our food is the server got bitchy. The manager came out and said sorry, you’ve got a large order? Not sure why new tables were put in before us just because of the size of our party? Still took another 15 to get my cold fries.
None of us were happy. I’d give it another try though.

Lol, not what I meant but funny:p. I was referring to the multiple choices at a buffet. Get what you feel like having without any waiting.:)
