V drive it and put the belt in the back... Just being an ass, good looking boat and good for you on thinking about the safety of your crew,

The guards don’t prevent much. It was always the big worry with mine. I had a guard and it demolished a beach towel my wife was sitting on.

So build a bench seat to cover it up then? Or yank the back benches and make it a 2 seater lol

My guard works good but it only covers the top 3/4 as the rest is not really exposed. My seat is right next to it. Shoulder is pretty much resting on it. You will have to have a full length one custom fabricated for that engine I would think.

I don’t have a blower, but having a bulkhead is the exact reason I dumped the lounge seating once the originals were in need of replacement.

Lemme tell you them blower belts are unforgiving. I ran a beach towel through the pulleys, and it bent the snoot, tore the water pump right off the front cover, and bent the idler. Thankfully it didn’t take out the crank. That was a 5k beach towel. I could see it having no problem pulling a person through it.

Pretty bad ass set up. I hope you never, ever lose a belt.

None of them keep hair out, none. It’s like a venturi behind the guards.

I had the ladies wrap their hair up or wear a hat. If the belt goes it’s likely taking the guard with it.

This is what the CP has. It bolts to the underside of the back panel.
