I enjoy black licorice. Good stuff is hard to find for sure. Those vines are pretty gross, but some gourmet stuff is good living.

Spice Drops from Kroger or Ralphs. Hard to skip those too.

Hate black licorice, plus too much causes irregular heart beat.

Lately my vice is Long John popsicles.:D

Easy answer: Lindor Truffles aka "Lindt Balls"

Best deal is the assorted flavor bag from Costco. You must keep them in the fridge to chill them and not chew on them - put them in your mouth and savor the chocolate flavor until the outer layers start to delaminate in your mouth revealing the chocolate "bean" in the middle. Truly terrific chocolate!

Another chocolate alternative: Dove chocolate in bags - available at many stores including Walmart - and in many flavors: dark, milk, dark with nuts, and one of my favorites: dark chocolate with peanut butter. Again, keep them in the fridge and let them soften in your mouth before munching

Don't crave and not a must have, BUT, when i come across these in the store i have to get a few boxes. They do not last long either.

Must have isn't really candy. frozen Oreo's and a glass of super cold milk.

Those things are pretty damn amazing.

I generally don't do sweets or desserts, but gummy bears or good jerky pass the time driving to the river.

When i was in NZ back in Feb i had some excellent black licorice on my road trip. Real old fashioned style like that. They don't have 'red vines' style licorice down there lol

Good-n-Plenty.:D:cool:
I'm one of those who like it.
Growing up always out in the "fields", as we called it, on my bmx or dirt bikes the Fennel plant was all over the place. Small yellow flowers. When the plant dies/goes dormant we'd take the seeds and put them in mouth like tobacco chew. Full on black licorice flavor and a boost of energy. Chew it a bit a spit out.

Gotta check out Tractor Supply and get a bag of these Scottie Dogs than, imho best black licorice ever.

I thought this thread was going to be about the stripper that use to work at Fritz's in Bellflower.

Skinny black gal that very few liked but those that liked her gave her all their attention?

Another vote for black licorice, it's and has been my all time favorite since I was a kid. The only other person in our family that likes it is my 3 year old grand daughter. :)

Sometimes I eat so much of it I'll have green shit the next day...:D And yes I look at my shit and anyone who says they don't are full of shit, no pun intended.

I like a chocolate bar that's only sold in Canada and The UK called Aero...… Second favorite is another CDN bar called Eat-More...… I also like ketchup chips, also not sold in the states.

Licorice cigars. Ugly to look at, but if you like licorice these anise flavored smokes are tasty.

Those are the best on a hot day, but only the minis. They have the optimum peanut butter /chocolate ratio.

Do not refrigerate the caramel M&M's they have a very high freezing point and will break your teeth if you don't warm them up in your mouth before chewing on them.

The Dutch "enjoy" a black licorice that is hard as a rock and salty like concentrated sea water. Truly awful but they love it.

See every summer when i went to my grandparents, born in Holland, that was “the” snack in the house, and quite possibly why i so love black licorice. The gum was awesome never seen it since, want to say was a yellow package black letters. My last name and heritage is Holland Dutch

Love the Lindors. I don’t buy the Costco variety pack though. I’m too particular. I like the white chocolate and the sea salt ones.
Yum. About time for a couple pieces about now.

If you're going to list the Gansitos, then you've got to include Sponch marshmallow cookies, They're a pretty good midday snack.

Knotts Berry Farm sells the real, old school black Licorice.
Not black twizzlers but real black licorice.
The kind of stuff ya can't talk for a day after eating it, you saliva glands squirt like faucets, your ears start ringing.
Our cats love it too.

One great thing about Sears was the candy counter.
A big, rectangular section of glass cases with amazing candy.
Their Honey Comb was the best. Malted Milk balls too. Not like Whoppers but off the chain good. Real white chocolate ya can't get anyplace in the USA today.
It's gone and yet another of many reasons Sears is folding.
