This has been driving me nuts, is my Bimini Top on backwards? Does it matter? I look at other boats and see them installed both directions...

You've got it right. Generally the straight bar is in the back so you can fold it back on that bar.

Often times on double biminis the front one will be installed opposite.

Looks like it's shading the engine cover more than the seating! ... Turn it around and take another pic! ;)

That's a good point, I will spin it around next time out and try it.

Take my experience as a "Learning Moment" - the attached pic is of my (then) 16 year old son, a buddy and I after we put the bimini up on my 23' Warlock - In our defense we were VERY DISTRACTED by the two 'hotties' that were dancing right next to us!! Desert Storm - Pirates Coveo_O:rolleyes:

Every Bimini I’ve ever had is the same way you currently have it set up. Straight bar in the back, if you reversed it I don’t think it would show correctly with hitting top of gunnel

I would tighten the front straps up and loosen the rear straps. You want the Bimini level when sitting in water or under way. Help reduce the parachute effect. You might like it more too when it’s properly adjusted.

This is a great example of a properly set Bimini top. Level with water not with top of boat.

Great advice, I think it does parachute a bit under speed. will make the adjustments and give it a try.
