Seen this on IG. Is the Big Orange Boat making a comeback? I remember it anchored In Thompsons Bay and taking the kids for ice cream or burgers. The burgers were good. Not sure what ever happened to the old one? Heard a rumor it burnt down or the city shut them down or something. Anyone know?
Good luck on the endeavor Big Orange Boat

I saw a post on Facebook that the big orange boat sank last night. I saw it in Thompson Bay around 3 or 4, must have happened later.

The photo I saw showed it tied to a dock with a portion of the boat submerged. A previous photo, believe it was taken near site 6 yesterday afternoon, showed it under way, but appeared to have a port list and heavy in the bow.

Saw a pic of bow floor at water line yesterday. With the wind and waves would not take much to start causing issues

I was out there yesterday around 3:30. The waves and wind were bad. Many boats were having issues. The windsor launch ramp was a shit show for boats trying to get on their trailers.

Reports aren't real clear. Sounds like an aft support brace between the pontoons may have given way, allowing water to somehow enter the aft portion of the pontoons?? Sorry to hear it.

Damn that sucks. If a brace failed, it might have torn the aluminum itself, letting water in. I really feel for those guys. And , it happened at the worst time. Right at the beginning of summer. I hope they get it up and running soon.
