Big bear water level report

Water level was pretty far down for early summer time. Lots of docks high and dry. Boulder bay was Boulder marsh. Halloway was about half the "normal" size. It started getting shallow past the observatory. Still good to be out on the water. Google doesn't know anything when it comes to weather on the mountain. Was 10 degrees hotter than it said online. Had a great trip. Water is cold, bars are hopping and lots of choices for live music all day. Had a great meal at pines lakefront a legitimate 5 stars. Social and firerock delivered as well.

It’s been low up there for a few years. Let’s hope it doesn’t become like mead and Powell. Awesome pics!

…Looks really nice…haven’t had a boat on that water since probably 1980 …was staying at a friend of mine’s cabin pretty close to shore… took my girlfriend to the other end of the lake and rented about a 15 foot outboard for $25 and had a great time…Betcha can’t rent a 15 foot outboard anymore???…
