Mercury Marine has purchased all the assets of Speed UTV. They will be using their world class technical, manufacturing and dealer networks to support this exciting new venture. Existing deposit holders will have their contracts honored, but will be told not to expect delivery until 2024 - so all the screw-ups can be fixed.

Just a guess but seeing that it’s on the Mercury Marine website and not the Mercury Racing website, I doubt it will be an outboard above the 450R

it would be the biggest flop in the history of boating. electric is only good for trolling motors and exhibition runs. it is in no way or anywhere near practical. not to mention the whole batteries getting wet scenario thats been blowing up lately with the cars.
