Just to be clear...

The leaders who we propped up didn't really want to fight.

The army that we created is now handing all of their weapons over to the people we armed them to fight against.

We have armed the people who hate us.

The people who were our actual allies we are abandoning to die. So now they hate us too.

The excuse that they didn't expect the afghan army to simply surrender reveals how stupid this whole thing is.

There is no good answer but the end of this will be a consolidated part of the world that will be screaming death to America in one unified voice. If I'm Iran I try and unite all of the middle east against the now common enemy.

When that very last Boeing C-17 leaving with however many helpless allies they can load up doing rounds every hour for 24 hours, and our ground troops doing the escorting are the ones last to leave, this is going to turn into messy combat ground mission. Just wait for it. Its going to get ugly, and I believe we will be seeing videos steaming in, similar to the Hillary Clinton and Obama days, of Stadiums full of Taliban making examples of innocent people that were left behind and could not get out.
