Cross Roads has an excellent prime rib dinner.

They start serving it on Sundays around 3pm though!

Everything in Parker is hit and miss. Not many long time employees out there. 😔
Or go in on Sunday (if they still have it) and get the Ham Steak and eggs! .... The Chicken fried steak and eggs was always good also! -- 2 people! 4 plates!

Anyone remember the winners Circle steakhouse near the damn about 30 years ago that was a place on the strip
Yup! Paradise took over the building. I was probably around 12 years old when we lost the Winners Circle. My parents and their friends were devastated.

Havasu Springs. It's technically part of the Parker strip, never had a shitty steak there in 35 years.

I do miss the Paradise Cafe across from MC's Market. That place was great as well.
How about winners circle ???

Barracudas? If I recall and a big shrimp on top of the prime rib. That was long time ago.

It's gotten better, like I said previously there was a time I would've agreed.
I wouldn't feed strokes to my dog and I'd eat Kal Kan before Storkes...total dog shit.

Strokes is horrible. We live here and won’t go there.

Willows is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s decent. But fuck the casino.

Mi Tierra is now mi Mexico Lindo. It sucks ass. Too bad because we loved Mi Tierra.

The Sandbar bar has really good bbq. Two thumbs up.

China Garden is ok. It’s a Parker 8.

I’ve had really bad service at Pirates, but it’s still ok. Ok enough that there’s not much better and at least it’s air conditioned.

Parker is in desperate need of some nice places to eat. There’s money here. Million dollar homes up to baller 5/6 million dollar vacation river front homes. Why no one wants to cater to these people is beyond me.

Plenty of good food in Havasu though. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The place we go in MN is the same way... $1Million+ "cabins" on the lake, not a decent place for a meal within 50 miles.

I think that for one, people don't go there to eat at a restaurant and two, those places largely sit empty most of the time. The locals don't have the coin to keep anything more than a local dinner in business.

For Parker.

Crossroads for breakfast never lets me down.

Road runner has the most consistent food on the water and it’s pretty good.

The springs is hit or miss.

Jack in the box takes an hour and half to drive through.

Strokes we walked out of after we got our drinks as we could tell if we stayed disaster would ensue.

In Barrington? About an hours' drive north of my house.
For some reason I thought you were on the chain. My mom's side of the family is all from up there. I'll be up that way in late September for a few days.

Doesn’t Taco Bell have steak tacos?

i think a carne asada plate would be the best steak, maybe a carne asada Burrito a close 2nd….

1st choice would be Safeway or Walmart if they sell food…..

I'm on the Fox River, but south of there closer to 88.

Safeway has a nice Butcher. They have great thick cut bacon as well. The grocery rewards for fuel in town is another plus. I got 30 cents a gallon off. Paid $4.70 a gallon Tuesday for first 25 gallons. Filled up for a $70 savings over CA.

Personal opinion, I think Early Bird beats Crossroads for breakfast and lunch.
They both have pretty good breakfast.

Crossroads looks like the building is falling down. Have you been down the hallway to bathroom? The place is busy as fuck every weekend. How about replacing some stained roof tiles, torn seats and booths, and remodeling the 1950 bathrooms. As bad of shape as the restaurant is in, you can’t tell me the kitchen isn’t infested with roaches. I’m just saying. 😬

Making your own steak in Parker is your best bet. Safeway's meat counter is pretty good considering. Butchers are always very friendly and nice.

Strokes is NOT good anymore. New menu dropped a lot of good food & Everything tastes like way too much salt.
This is disappointing to hear. It used to be our Sunday, on the way out of town, dinner stop.

Yep, first time I walked in I turned around to leave and my buddy says trust me the food is good.

How about Tavern 95? Every time I drive by that place the parking lot is full. Never been there.
We ate there over the weekend. Everything was cooked perfect.. but no flavor at all! Seriously bland as hell.

Crossroads is too dirty for me. Agreed the food is better than average except the hash browns are way way greasy, all you taste is grease.
Could top off the V Drive with that shit.

From what all my friends have told me the place has gone WAAAYYY DOWNHILL.. to the point they won’t even eat there. :(
Strokes was sold and then the new owner died shortly after. Is it even open right now? That’s what I was told by my local gossip neighbor. I always got the fillet there, it was good 75% of the time.
Pirates used to suck ass but we went Father’s Day and the food was good, service has not gotten any better because they are understaffed. Our waitress lived in Havasu

We are on a Pirates kick lately, the food and service has been on point every time. We used to always go to Strokes for dinner and the Strokes steak was my go to but unfortunately it has gone down hill. I love that place…not going there makes me sad, the people watching was always awesome. I will never forget the lady who was hanging out in the bar in her bra…lol, I think she thought she still had her suit on. 😂

My wife goes between the risotto and the scallops believe it or not, they are both really good at Pirates.

I think Crossroads is a step up from the old coffee Erns, we frequently went there for breakfast.

I did not feel the need for a tetanus shot before entering Coffee Erns. Crossroads needs to be disinfected, don't know how the health dept. lets it stay open.

My daughter and I came into town this weekend to drop the trailer off for a month and a half stay at pirates, she wanted to go for a drive in the golf cart so we went down to Roadrunner for some bar food. They were literally out of everything except pizza, so we came back to pirates for dinner.

The Ahi Tuna appetizer was on point, just as good as Yard House last weekend. I think I got two pieces out of 10, she was devouring it.

I got a surf and turf with blue cheese topped medallions, it was amazing. Just as good as any other steak I've ever had at any high dollar steak house.

We walked in at 7:55, expecting to get turned away because they closed at 8:00. No problem, seated quickly and our server was friendly and great all night.

Pro tip: for a nice cool down meal when it's a million degrees out, try the ceviche at the outdoor bar.

The only decent food in Parker is the Domino's pan pizza - stay away from the regular crust pizza.

Someone needs to invest in a decent taco truck and show up on weekends.

Havasu Springs has never disappointed us. We eat there 5 to 6 times a month always consistent and good. Good steaks, good ribs and fish. Breakfast is very good. IMG_0142.jpg IMG_5891.JPG IMG_5890.JPG IMG_5889.JPG IMG_5523.JPG IMG_4637.JPG
