We like the Red Onion but, you have to get there early. Place gets packed. They make some pretty decent mimosas and screwdrivers as well..

I like Rusty's best. @HNL2LHC likes Boathouse because they have Loco Moco. :) I have to say, the Boathouse Porkchop breakfast is pretty bomb.

You are right on the Loco Moco Jeff. That is only Friday-Sunday. It is fun to sit in the bar especially during the fall football. There are a lot of regulars or just people that are fun to talk to. The bartenders Kevin and Jen are good people.

Makai with their breakfast tacos.
One of the reasons I like Makai is the outside patio and view. Great to just sit outside and watch the morning go by. It is a bit toasty this part of the year.

I heard that the owner is a Biden supporter that’s why I won’t eat there anymore
I had not heard that. In talking to someone that knows him (a few months ago) my take away was he is eclectic and extremely tight with his dough. I also took it that he’s a craftsman who works on his own stuff and also built a lot of the esthetic elements of the restaurant himself. We did not talk politics.

Although I’m conservative and have been a registered Republican for over 45 years (I voted for Regan in 1980 and remember when he was California’s Governor), I’m old school and do not necessarily dislike someone solely based on their politics, although there are exceptions, especially in the case of outright fanaticism.

I’m of the opinion that open conversation, debate and general discourse (and disagreement) is a healthy thing. What I’m seeing more and more of these days is an us or die mentality which (in my humble opinion) isn’t good for anyone.

That said, Trump is my candidate.

Well, I was gonna say Rusty's and Red Onion (Love the House omelet and the Bloody Mary's). Gonna re-think the Red Onion if they are dumb enough to be business owners and still support Biden.

From what I understand, his wife and several waitresses marched with the BLM when they came to Havasu. Before I knew this, I had been there a couple times and my breakfast arrived Ice cold, I watched my order sit on the counter for 10 minutes while the waitress prepared the toast.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who was less than impressed with RO food. Been there a couple times for breakfast because someone else chose to go there. I'm as far from being finicky about food as one can be but neither time was the food up to my low standards.
