What’s the best breakfast food in havasu ?
You are right on the Loco Moco Jeff. That is only Friday-Sunday. It is fun to sit in the bar especially during the fall football. There are a lot of regulars or just people that are fun to talk to. The bartenders Kevin and Jen are good people.I like Rusty's best. @HNL2LHC likes Boathouse because they have Loco Moco. I have to say, the Boathouse Porkchop breakfast is pretty bomb.
One of the reasons I like Makai is the outside patio and view. Great to just sit outside and watch the morning go by. It is a bit toasty this part of the year.Makai with their breakfast tacos.
I heard that the owner is a Biden supporter that’s why I won’t eat there anymoreWe like the Red Onion but, you have to get there early. Place gets packed. They make some pretty decent mimosas and screwdrivers as well..
Jus sayin' we think Rustys is good and fair priced all things considered in todays world.Rusty’s
Juicy’s
Makai
Boat house
Jersey’s
Red Onion is great but liberal owners
Black Bear
Peggy’s sunrise no frills like Sam’s small town cafe
Besides that, My one hypocritical Vice is Starbucks.Rusty’s or Juicy’s
Red onion is gross. Who TF puts arugula on Huevos Rancheros?!??
I had not heard that. In talking to someone that knows him (a few months ago) my take away was he is eclectic and extremely tight with his dough. I also took it that he’s a craftsman who works on his own stuff and also built a lot of the esthetic elements of the restaurant himself. We did not talk politics.I heard that the owner is a Biden supporter that’s why I won’t eat there anymore
Right there with you my friend. LOLBesides that, My one hypocritical Vice is Starbucks.
I can’t have 2 liberal recipients of my money.
Never said I disliked anyone.I had not heard that. In talking to someone that knows him (a few months ago) my take away was he is eclectic and extremely tight with his dough. Although I’m conservative and have been a registered Republican for over 45 years (I voted for Regan in 1980 and remember when he was California’s Governor), I’m old school and do not necessarily dislike someone solely based on their politics, although there are exceptions, especially in the case of outright fanaticism.
I’m of the opinion that open conversation, debate and general discourse (and disagreement) is a healthy thing. What I’m seeing more and more of these days is an us or die mentality which (in my humble opinion) isn’t good for anyone.
That said, Trump is my candidate.
It was mentioned. No one said black bear.
They do have good food. I found out from the Havasu locals that he is a Biden supporter So I don’t go there anymoreI had not heard that. No one chimed in on post #5. Also….No one can’t read or retain content read.No one said black bear.
From what I understand, his wife and several waitresses marched with the BLM when they came to Havasu. Before I knew this, I had been there a couple times and my breakfast arrived Ice cold, I watched my order sit on the counter for 10 minutes while the waitress prepared the toast.I had not heard that.
