I'll go be poor somewhere else.

Lots of trucks / blazers at $200K+

This just went for $600,000.

This was my 64 Lincoln. Convertibles were only a $400 option over the hardtop sedan.

No way the black vert is worth 600K, but the restoration must have taken thousands of hours, for sure.
Oh well, should have kept mine mothballed to this day, instead of selling it for $4200 cdn 25 yrs ago,lol

Anybody there today? My crypto buddy went last night but I’m not sure if he won any bids.

I just saw a 1972 Blazer cross the block for $250K and almost got sick. I unloaded my Father In Laws a few years ago for $4K. if I remember correctly a member here wanted to buy it but it wasn't in the cards.

I also had a 64 that I sold and then posted a thread on here about it how I tried to put all the money I got from it on black at the roulette wheel.

I think my C10, based on what I saw today, would also fetch $200k+

I think we’re at the peak for those trucks, today I saw some of the finest mods and restores of Chevy trucks that I’ve ever seen.
I will never sell mine because my Dad and I built it together. It will pass down to kids and one day won’t be worth much. Oh well, I’m not in it for the money.

love the hard line work and transition to braided line for a vibration dapner....
Yeah, me too.

Just a beautiful build and you're 100% right, that truck would definitely be a winner at auction.

@J DUNN any idea how the hardline to braided hose is accomplished? Who makes those fittings?

Mark at Bent Custom and Performance in Chatsworth did all the hardline.

Side note: Naturally when all lines and fittings were made up there was weld marks, bend stretch marks and differences in metal look due to different fittings only being available in certain metals. To aid in uniformity I took all completed lines and had them brushed or bead blasted to make all finishes as close to the same as possible. Then had them all clear cerakoted to they will never stain or get dirty beyond what a wet rag could wipe off.

Beautiful truck and amazing detail. 😍
What are the two louvered boxes under the truck ?
I say coolers. Maybe oil and trans. 🤷‍♂️ You can see the lines to and from look to be that. 👍

I was wondering if somebody would pick up on that. @HNL2LHC is right, coolers. One is trans and one is AC. Stainless louvers to deflect rocks.
The sole motivation of putting them there was to clean up the radiator core support area and have a minimal, clean engine bay.
