COSTCOs and HEBs are absofuckinlutely the best. These are for a bartenders Bday party and the pot lucks at the Joint.
If it was for the family I'd probably still roll with COSTCO.

funny you mention this, i've noticed the last couple of pork butt's i've gotten have been shit!

Not crazy about the Vons taste. Might'a been on me, but I never have issues with the COSTCO pork, ever.

I’ve also had good luck with the Smithfield ribs, I can grab them at Walmart or Smiths or Safeway (can’t recall which)

F Costco meats! I’ve gotten bad, I mean rancid smelling meat from their vacuum sealed packages - a brisket and 3 packs of ribs. I’m done with Costco for meat.

We have better luck with Sams Club steaks, than Costco. Vons does carry a good babyback, it says extra meaty.
These seem to taste better than Costco's too.
