Avalanche/Escalade question

Hey should a bobtail 496 on a pallet fit in the back of an avalanche/escalade truck?

I think it would. I think they are on a 1/2 ton chassis.

I mean physically fit in the box. They arent very wide, and there is an overhang where the panels fit over the bed

I'd imagine they would. The box is 5'6" or so? And it isn't any narrower than a standard pick-up box between the wheel wells. If it's being forked in, the front overhang won't be an issue. The engine shouldn't be that tall.
