While up in Big Bear yesterday I saw this very cool Austin Healey Boat. It wasn't amphibious but none the less a show winner in my book...

That be an "A" series Layland engine in that bilge. Beautiful boat but I would bet it leaks oil.....

Very nice👍. Should have the straight six engine though.;)

My friend has a 1923 Dodge Watercar with a Hemi V-8. Most people, including Mopar guys never heard of the Dodge brothers were building boats back in the old days.
This is my friend's, fully restored. These are $$$$$$ boats.

My friend's 58 100/6 Healey with custom built engine by Healy racing in England. Aluminum racing engine with triple Webers.
We had it at Laguna Seca historic event.

So lets get to the meat and potatoes of this thread, I know it's about time. It was nice to see some of the nicest (approx. 150) Austin Healey's on the streets of Big Bear yesterday for the annual Austin Healey Conclave 2021. The weather was nice and sunny, people were tame and all around a great day...

That's a whole lot of Lucas Electric there

Lot of nice cars there. Glad the weather was good and King Newscum let you all meet.

Well if your going to own a vehicle with Lucas on board you better be prepared like this guy.

And for you guy's that no longer live in Komifornia, car gatherings continue to gather, covid or no covid. Proof positive it hasn't stopped the donut guy's in HB...

That's nice! We have one guy up here with a pretty nice Healey. Still has the very classic look, but has a Cosworth and a 5 spd. He's a retired machinist, some neat stuff done, so much you miss a lot the first few times you see it.

@monkeyswrench Beat me to the Lucas comment.
Some friends had cars blessed with Lucas in high school during the '60's :p 😁. Only two settings for the lights: off and dim.👍
