I have my tin foil hat on this morning for sure......one day after Barr testifies before congress and says the Trump campaign was spied on, the UK nabs Assange "on behalf of the United States". No mention of him being wanted for rape in Sweden which is why he was at the embassy in the first place. So in full conspiracy theory mode I ask - Is Trump offering Assange a deal for Hillary and Russia info?

I'll bet Assange is seriously shitting himself contemplating the death penalty in the US.
I'd be really surprised if he doesn't have a get out of jail free card with God knows what on it......

The rape charges in Sweden were dropped and were pure BS drummed up by the worst administration in the history of our nation.............scandal free Barry.

It's either one of two things the way I see it.

1) The Deep State changing the narrative off the spying revelation.

2) As you said, Trump and Barr want his info.

Trump knows it all and if he locks up Assange long term, I'll be pissed.

My question is, could he have been arrested without the approval of Barr? I don't think so, but I'm not sure.

Weird how they they arrest people out in the UK.....
Not only do they cuff your hands in front, but they let you hold reading material like Gore Vidals "History of the National Security State: Includes Vidal on America" while being escorted out just in case you feel like reading in the paddy wagon.
This was definitely not staged at all....

Enjoy the show [emoji897]

The fact that he was reportedly "arrested on behalf of the US in regards to a new extradition request" tells me Barr was definitely in on it.....

They are claiming that he directly gave instructions to manning on how to use certain tools to get the data he leaked. Which begs the question, why wait 12-13 years to make that charge, why not back when manning was being tried? I don't ever remember them making the claim that Assange was directly involved in the conspiracy at any point over the last decade, it's been a very long time, so i could be mistaken.

You can't be serious with this:rolleyes:
Manning supplied the info to Assange, and while Manning is in custody, the twerp gets a free sexchange, instead of the death penalty :D

It took them a decade to figure out something else to charge him with, since no one believed the trumped-up rape charge.

I’m surprised that kiddie porn wasn’t “discovered”. That’s usually the default “let’s sway public opinion” charge.

What Wiki released was only a fraction of what they are (were) in possession of. Assange admitted he withheld thousands of pages of classified top secret material because (in his own words) "it could really damage the national security of the US". Depending on what they find, he could absolutely face the death penalty. Did he give the blueprints to the F22 fighters to China? Who knows.....

I wonder what his get out of jail free card looks like....don't forget he has openly threatened the US in the event of his arrest he would have things released to the public. I think the US is going to make an example out of him in a big way. I guess we'll see how principled Assange really is, protect his sources to the end or spill his guts to get a lighter sentence.

You have to remember, he's not threatening the US, he's threatening the fucking cunts that got elected to rule over us. THEY are the ones guilty of TREASON and MURDER.

I actually hope he blows some shit up, not like we could not handle what ever, it's the politics of it that are stupid.

Isn't Assange supposed to have some type of dead-man switch that will release all the files to various servers if he doesn't periodically enter a sequence of characters?

He was denied internet privilege for some time at the embassy so who knows. The dude chose an extremely perilous path, and has seemingly paid the price with a good bit of his sanity, more than seven years of his life and I guess we will see what else.

So the guy who actually stole classified documents gets his sentence commuted but the guy who published it gets arrested after the fact. So if Bradley Manning doesn't belong in prison, why does Assange belong there?

It’s much better than that.
Manning also got a sex-change operation out of the deal.

I dont think it's a literal dead man switch. From what I've read, someone else has those much wanted files. Something happens to JA, they(whomever it might be) releases the hounds. Some say it's Kim dot com that has them

sounds likely.
Wasn't Kim Dotcom also the one that also got the DNC thumb drive from Seth Rich and gave it to Wikileaks?

The US should drop all charges related to the hacking of Pentagon computers. Assange alledgedly helped Bradley Manning download over 400,000 documents that endangered our military and intelligence assets. It was one of the worst security breaches in American history.

Manning was sentenced to 35 years, but Obama pardoned him after 7 years, just before he left office.

So if Bradley is free, Assange didn't do anything wrong.

Isn't that right, libturds?

The case against Assange is pretty thin, Manning used an off the shelf windows password reset tool to reset the admin password of the computer and extract the files. It's a very basic and widely known tool in the IT world, it's been around for probably 20 years at this point, this is the crux of the "Assange Assisted in Cracking a password for Manning" Charge.

the other charge is that Assange encouraged Manning to take more documents because at the end of their relationship duing the leak Assanged replied to manning "curious eyes never run dry in my experience."

The fact that they throw these charges on 10 years after the fact, and nothing of the sort was brought up during Manning's trial nearly a decade ago, leads to them being pretty weak IMO.

You sure? That was what was pointed out to me then they retracted the claim. Not doubting you just want to be sure of the event.

Looking bogus as of now. 👎

I think they might have thought, Trump would've pardoned him.

They are afraid or believe that they will lose in November this is a panic move.

They did this deal to take Assange off of the table, done deal so Trump has no jurisdiction/leverage to pump him for all the dirt he has on the Cocksucking Faggot Administrations and certain dirty individuals like all of them. And there's metric shit tons of dirt.

They also forced him to plead guilty to put 5 years on the table as a minimum for speaking out about the firm. You want to point out what they are doing wrong? Fine, but it is gonna cost you a minimum of 5 years..
