Some say listening to whispering will bring on ASMR. Didn’t work too well for big Joe Biden. . . . . Instant ASMR for me was the first time I heard Gary Smith’s first Predator at Lake Powell. Another source of ASMR, for me, is good live music. When actually performing good live music, the sensation is even more intense. At particular times performers, singers and musicians experience a similar phenomenon to ASMR. It may be while performing a tune they’d previously done hundreds of times. Suddenly, something just clicks and comes together like never before. You honestly feel it and sense it when it happens. It’s good stuff. It doesn’t happen all of the time. And doesn’t last forever. But, there’s no mistaking it, when it does happens. An abnormally good round of golf can be similar and effortless. Professional football players speak of another similar phenomenon when they suddenly start moving the ball down the field. The offense suddenly clicks and there’s no stopping them.

Biden’s whispering just doesn’t fit into these categories. Somebody should have told him. Too late. But, I doubt if he would’ve listened anyway . . . . .

White noise and the like is considered asmr. It's been around forever really. The younger generation sorta brought it to another level.
First time I heard about this new version & weird phenomenon was some chick saying she enjoyed listening to people chewing & eating food. Doh!WTF?

I will say this though, I turn on sounds of light rainfall to fall asleep at night. Older I get the less I sleep
