Great write up and impressive boat. What is Howard talking about for max HP? One of these with the LSA would be a pretty slick set up. A single 400R outboard model would be neat too. Curious to see how the hull performs at higher speeds.

With the 400 you'd kill the aesthetics, and the beauty of that big giant swim step. Howard doesn't have a Max HP on the boat yet.. I'd guess a Merc 600 would be about it, and they'd probably try to talk you out of that.

The Sponson's on an X-Flight aren't part of the running surface. They are just using the squared off front to gain a lot more interior room up front over a traditional Vee.

A 540 or 565 with ITS would be really nice for this boat. If you wanted to be more custom a ilmor MV8 570 with a max machine Worx billet drive and full imco steering would be a very cool and exciting boat.

Everything about this boat really pleases me. However I really don't like the idea of this boat not being offered in a half cap. I know this boat will be amazing. Great job Mike!
