USS Arizona Memorial …. is this really going to happen in Lake Havasu City!… I’m hope it is but just being careful before donating!! Supposedly that piece of history is already arrived.

That would be cool. Havasu is probably the most boating city in Arizona, and as a whole, has a very patriotic populace. I hope they do it, and can spread some knowledge to younger generations.

Yes, this is happening and ongoing and the donations are going well with more commitments pledged and coming in. Currently the project is getting subs/vendors/suppliers bids finalized along with the construction schedule. All subs/vendors/suppliers are asked for an 'in-kind' donation of their services and all have pledged to do so. Anyone can make a donation and it is welcomed.
This will be one of only four USS Arizona Memorial sites in Arizona that have actual pieces of the ship.
