95M is a slap on the hand unfortunately. Every apple product out there should be worth a 1k at a minimum in settlement, we have 4 iPads, make it hit them hard in the pocketBill
Gates and Microsoft are just as bad of it worse. Bezzos, fuckerburg, they’re aaaaaaall up to shady shit. Big Corp and big pharma are straight up evil.
As I’m typing this on my iPhone.
tmobile was 1st to team up with starlink.Jus’ Sayin’:
Hold your Apple Stock.
The new IPhones talk to Satellites.
Musk talking up linking cell phones to Starlink.
Starlink is privately held.
Eliminating cell towers would be a windfall for both.
Wait until the masses see how bad recycling EV batteries areYou guys should watch this documentary on basically the biggest scam around (recycling). All
These big companies are woke and claim to push climate change but in reality their business practices are polar opposite. Zero fucks given for the damage they’re doing to the earth which is the majority and substantial but we (the consumer) shoulder the burden of climate change. Total fuckin scam.
Recycle? Yeah sure.
And how bad they are for hotels and public gatherings.Wait until the masses see how bad recycling EV batteries are
Yeah fuck those guys and their awesome stock returns that are tied to 99% of people retirement accounts.Fuck apple.
I hope I live long enough to witness itWait until the masses see how bad recycling EV batteries are
Dead zones, think of the potential with a full blown no cell tower system.tmobile was 1st to team up with starlink.
Going from Verizon to tmobile hasn't been bad, just at the River. Have starlink now for camping.Dead zones, think of the potential with a full blown no cell tower system.
But, the thing is you didn’t have to be “using” Siri to be recorded.Regarding Apple, couldn’t care less about the Siri recording. I only use Siri to ask for directions.
Are you suggesting the iPhone is in constant “record” mode, all of the time? I haven’t read details but have a hard time believing that. The data size would be immense. But, the thing is you didn’t have to be “using” Siri to be recorded.
I know several iPhone users where Siri has triggered while in a conversation, I assume the phone thought it heard Siri. Additionally, I know that you can have a conversation about something specific and then experience targeted ads.Are you suggesting the iPhone is in constant “record” mode, all of the time? They talk about it in the documentary. The garbage collection recycling can is BS as well.
It goes to the same landfill as the garbage does. There is no actual recycling.

Regarding the comments on recycling. What do you think all of those 40’ shipping containers have in them when they return to China? You guessed it, recycling crap from the USA and Europe, cardboard boxes, scrap plastic, plastic bottles, scrap metal, rotting food, you name it. Saw it first hand when we lived and worked over there. I suppose “some of it” becomes post consumer material, haha!
Always cracks me up when I encounter a recycling stalwart. Do you trust China to be a “responsible” recycler! If they only knew.
I don’t think it was constant, but it did occur while Siri was not knowingly in use. That’s what the lawsuit was all about. Are you suggesting the iPhone is in constant “record” mode, all of the time? I haven’t read details but have a hard time believing that. The data size would be immense.
Joint development on a proprietary, specific to Star link phone, not what is already out there. They've proven they can do it with existing. Musk has said he doesn't want to make his own phone so my guess team up with someone who can. Musk holds some amazing compact high storage high power battery tech he's about to introduce as well.Won't happen in a long time, unless you want your phone battery to last half a day.
Cell tower infrastructure is already in place and requires much lower transmission power to cover the short distances.
Sat connection is only for remote areas, and Apples new phone uses the iridium network I believe which is a slow piece of shit basically capable of text messaging, extremely slow data speeds, like in the neighborhood of old school dial up phone modems. Better than no connection at all but you won't be looking up shit online with it.
