Apocalyptic Fire Action

One of my boys is deployed on the fire line in Pacific Palisades and sent me a couple of pics from last night’s fire. He said houses were just blowing up from the rapid accumulation of heat using up the oxygen and as soon as a window blows out it’s like the movie Backdraft. Then to make matters worse, at one point they were only getting 5 psi of water pressure from the pubic hydrants. The infrastructure was way over burdened.

I remember when I was young, we had a shit load of reservoirs in LA county. Now most of them are gone. Van Norman dam, Chatsworth reservoir etc. In the winter, we let water head down the LA river to the ocean even during a drought because of lack of reservoirs. I'm not a water engineer but something is wrong here.

I have been watching the news most of the day and night and it’s totally out of control. Makes you wonder what’s really going on
