i know the original del taco is in Barstow but not really looking for fast food.

We loved Oggis in Apple Valley, haven't tried the Lenwood one, but I'd imagine the menu is the same.

I called it Ploppa's because you were going to hear a plop shortly after. I liked the yellow place across the street.

Oggis in Lenwood works OK for us.

Slash X for burgers and fries. Call for days and hours.
Idle Spurs in Barstow has folded, permanently closed.

Green Tea Garden Cal City is OK. Cheap Hookers in the bar at night.

Last I was there, they had bought the original owner out and he had removed all the aviation / space memorabilia, but it was operating under new owners
Last time I was in there was sometime in November, I think around thanksgiving 2021

Had a buddy who's family had a desert place in Hinkley. One summer after high school he and I went out there to do some chores. Which basically meant drink beer and shoot guns. We never did get the water working. So, we lived off of beer and water from melted ice. Never realizing just how lucky we were.

Casa Jimenez, Barstow Rd exit, great food and reasonable, was our go to place when we had our cabin

Lola’s kitchen is good authentic Mexican food. The Mexicans I work with love it, and that says a lot. The Oggi’s in Barstow is much better than the one we have here in Apple Valley in my opinion. Rositas was good but recently closed. That’s about it for me other than the Del Tacos.

Los Domingos and DiNapolis are average at best.

I like the Raising Cane's, the one near my house in OC always has a crazy long line but the one in Barstow I can't get through the drive thru in 5 minutes usually.
