I drove by this today and stopped to take pics and the owners dad introduced himself to me, then the owner. Super nice guys, both have several bad ass jet boats, are in to drag boat racing and visit Havasu and Parker frequently.

Back to the truck, it's a 1999, 167K miles with the original engine, transmission and paint. Interior looked great, paint was in decent shape but had some blemishes (not peeling but scratches, chips and fender rash), its mechanically lowered with bags in the rear for towing. No 5th wheel hitch but has a recent rhino type liner sprayed. The owner said he wanted an unmolested truck other than the lowering it looks like he got what he wanted. He said a guy from Texas is supposed to by it in the next couple of days. Not my truck, just met the owner and I dont have any skin in the game but if the deal falls through it might be the right truck at the right price for someone. Call the number on the sale sign for more info. I told him he might be getting several calls from out of state. Truck is located in Everett WA.

The truck looked amazing when I drove past it going to a doctors appointment today. I stopped by on the way home and looked at it up close, it is in really good condition for a 25 YO tow rig, but needs some work on the fenders and paint in other areas due to chips and scrapes, didn't see any big dents but some smaller dings. The original paint was still glossy and in good condition ( shows how it was cared for) and had no signs of clear pealing off, even on the roof. Wish I took pictures of it from a shaded area, the color just pops in low lighting conditions. For those in the PNW, the father and son are good friends with the owner of Skagen Marine ( Tony?) that has been in business since I was a toddler in the PNW.

I sure like the big wheels look. Have to imagine they really ride like shit with the low profile tires though.

Area code is 425. Owner said the truck was going to Texas in a couple of days if the guy he was dealing online through. I wish I had more time to go check out the family stash of big power old school jet boats that were in the shops up the hill from where this truck was parked.

1998, should be a Vortec BBC (much better fuel injection than the 96? and earlier TBI units) and paint looks to be in sad shape but the body is in better condition than the blue one I posted about earlier. The owner of the blue one said it was going down the road for 18K to a guy in Texas, but was waiting for the hauler to pick it up.
