LOL I know they are fugly, but so are stock Wranglers. Be nice to consolidate my Tundra and JKU to one vehicle.

I saw one that was tricked out with lift bigger tires and lots of add ons. It looked badass, way different than a stock ugly one

Our friends bought a gladiator rubicon, loaded. White with black soft top. They love it

Ugly and overpriced. I wanted one but waiting to see what the new bronco has going for it. Probably gonna get a new f150 when it's all said and done.

Honestly I kinda like them. I see them rolling all over town out here and I can't help but wonder if you couldn't build one into a fun offroad vehicle, that is also ok for daily driving?

If you want a loud, poor riding, daily driver that gets crappy gas mileage, and can't tow a jet ski, sure! :)

The Gladiator’s rear departure angle is terrible, so if you want off-rod capability, a Wrangler is better.

The bed is also pretty small, so if you need pickup-truck utility...then you may be better-served with a normal truck.

But they do look pretty cool when done-up.

I think it does what it was designed to do fairly well. The problem is peoples expectations complaining about stuff that it was never supposed to be in the first place. Those people are better off at Starbucks so they can have someone listen to them about their Americano having too much whip.

Box stock the Gladiator goes off road as well or better than any other stock pickup. And modified, it does it even better. Yeah, the wheel base is longer but that makes the ride so much better than a Wrangler Unlimited. And sure, the departure angle isn't like the Wrangler's which is amazing but you learn to live with the rear overhang while you get so much more functionality/carrying capacity with the box. I had a JK Unlimited Rubicon and the Gladiator Rubicon is much better in every way except for hard core rock crawling

I wanted one... but after checking them out in person...it doesn't have the space I need for a work truck.

That's really because they aren't work trucks. I get it. For someone who likes to off road and occasionally needs a pickup it seems like a good fit.

I'm not in love with the clunky tail lights. And holy cow, are they expensive.
