I'm pretty sure the one I have on my Schiada is from him. It works well.

Good quality product and great customer service. My father in law has a five blade/21" pitch on a conquest top cat deck which performs really well. Ive got a five blade 23" on my boss cat which I'm just as happy with.

For clarification, there are three "Hill" Propellers that can be confusing. All three have their "specialty" and happen to be in fairly close proximity.

1. Hill Marine is the company run by Chad Hill, the son of Ron Hill. www.hillmarine.com

From their website:

About Hill Marine.
For more than 35 years, Hill has been the premier name in the boat propeller industry. Ron Hill, the founder of Hill Propellers, began his boating career in 1955. Through his vast achievements in boat racing and contributions to the marine industry, Ron was inducted into the American Power Boat Association (APBA) hall of fame in 1997.

Since the sale of his father?s company in 1989, Chad Hill has continued the family tradition in both boat racing and the propeller business. Chad began boat racing at the young age of 9. At age 17 he was the youngest Formula One outboard driver in history, a title that still holds true today.

The knowledge and experience of over 35 years can be applied to your boat. So, whether you are a racer, skier or pleasure boat enthusiast, let Hill Marine.Com build your next propeller.

2. Ron Hill Propellers. Ron does a few props and buys/sells on eBay on the side while also helping his son Chad. http://stores.ebay.com/Ron-Hill-Signature-Propellers

He has tuned a prop for me in the past. Ron is a crazy character and has been around performance boats, specifically v-drives for a long time. He has a website for racing: www.boatracingfacts.com

3. Bronson-Hill Propellers
is/was a very well respected and prominent Propeller company in SoCal. They were the standard for Bravo stuff for years. I know RD knew Joel over there, but I cannot find them on the internet and I seem to remember something about them no longer in business. Possibly some health concerns. I talked with Joel many times on the phone years ago, always a very nice and extremely knowledgeable guy.

I am doing some big repairs on my boat, and while its down Im changing my gauges as well (old tach fluctuated). The gimbal was pretty loose and would give a disturbing twitch to the right when getting on and off the pad. So figuring rpms on the top has been tricky. Once that stuff is corrected I should be able to dial it in and see what I really need in a new prop.

At the top of the lounge section there is a good deal for Hill props. I assume it is for Hill.com (Chad). Seemed like a good way to get a decent prop

Bronson/Hill as no connection with Hill Propellers, although there might have been several years ago, ask Ron I?m sure he'll tell the whole story. I have used BH for many years up until Byron pasted away some years ago. Now BH is operated by an employee of BH, at least that?s what I was told.

Like mentioned above Chad pretty much runs the place, but Ron is usually there to answer any question you might have. Their customer service is awesome and very hard to beat, if you try a prop and it does not perform the way you want it to, they will go out of their way to modify it or give you another one. I highly recommend Hill Propellers :thumbsup
