working on a complete rewire of a 2004ish Ranger. This is an off road project, LS engine. The truck is being completely rewired, the only thing left OEM is the AC. trying to find information/documentation on the AC control cluster and heater/condenser box. thanks

your leaving out key information,

1. 2 wheel drive or 4?
2. Regular cab or extended?
3. Manual or automatic?

(straightens my autozone hat)
You forgot…

model?
Tire size?
Wheel offset?
Interior color?
Exterior color?
And most importantly prop pitch?

Just looking for wiring diagrams? I can pull them for you. In all seriousness, what motor did it have?

I have no idea. this thing has been radically worked over. Long travel suspension, LS engine, different trans roll cage etc etc. all i can tell you for sure from a wiring/control perspective is that the control cluster has three controls on it. left being Fan speed, center is temp selector (this has an odd round connector on the back with only two wires that may be thermocouple type wires) and the right is AC off/on and vent selection including defrost. Note this control has a quasi round connector with 6 vacuum ports that appears to control a vacuum driven flap actuator. the vacuum lines connect directly to the heater/AC box and lins come off that going to the flap mechanism.

yes some sort of wiring diagram would be most helpful as this is the only OEM Ford system left in the truck.

surfing around looking at replacement control panels, it appears to be 95-04 model years.

Ok, I'll dig up some info. You'll need a vacuum source hose and possibly one for a heater control valve, that likely wouldnt be utilized in this application so itll get plugged. I'll get back to you

@DaveH
Let me know if you're able to open these. I had to save them as pdf but may not be able to open them here.

No problem. Heres some more info that may be helpful.
the vaccum system is mostly untouched, with the exception of the vacuum res is gone and its just connected to straight to the manifold. using PDM's to control the system, thanks to your help, i think i have it figure out how to wire it.
