It's naked eye viewable now in Central Kentucky, even with a ton of light pollution. Should get better the next few weeks. Image from iPhone 16 Pro, 10 second exposure.
It is moving but stationary night to night. It's so far away that our eyes can't detect the movement. How fast does it move? I may have seen it out camping last week. It went by quickly, so I figured it was a meteorite, but it had a wide tail like your picture.
You captured the anti-tail in the second image! WOW, that's an impressive shot!!View attachment 1439182

A little longer exposure, so the brightness is higher, but it shows the comet well.
Is this going to be visible again tonight??
It's nothing like a "shooting star". From the time it's first visible to the naked eye you have about a twenty minute view time. That's actually +\- from where you are.How fast does it move? Same here, might drive towards the coast tomorrow and maybe get dinner as wellThank you for posting pics. Being so close to the hills east of L.A., I can't see anything.

Seen it tonight, by the time I got the binoculars out, and got the wife, it was gone.
Maybe tomorrow night.
