Looking to upgrade the wheels/rims on my boat trailer. Had Marc get me a set of his spacers for the caps so I don’t have to look at the bearing buddy’s.
Thought I had a old friend with the hook up on a set of torque thrust but he hasn’t called back and doesn’t return calls. ( I know, some friend )I have the part#s needed. Just depends on price on which set I do. Needing five total

Budman, you can also get them used on Ebay. That's what I did and I managed to scrape together a total of six with the exact same wheel dimensions and bolt patterns. I spent a little time and elbow grease and a few dollars on polishing, and now have an entire set of OG AR Torq Thrusts. Just a thought.

Wheel Pros has them for $135.00 a wheel. Not sure what you’ve been getting quotes for. This is who America’s tire and Big O tires go thru to get them.

You might take a look at rockets too. Jegs always has decent pricing on them.

thanks for the info. The only problem I see with your whole idea is this. Polishing them!😳 I’m captain lazy and would rather bend my elbow drinking a beer, not polishing a wheel or 6 😂.

I'm not seeing the opening on the spokes on the REV like on the AR wheels you posted Paul.
Easier to clean though.
They certainly remind me old school Crager 5 spoke🙂

Budman, the price on the American's is out of control.
Do an online search for Rev Wheels in Riverside CA.
These are full polished 17's and were just over $100 each
They deal in Chinese knock offs for 1/3 the price. View attachment 887464

That’s what I’m running. The Rev 100s anthracite in 18” on car tires. I hate polishing wheels. These hold up really good. I go in salt too.

The American racing metal is shit now. Mine would stain from launching and they never polished out like old school Alcoas or old school Welds used to.

I’d buy chrome, if not you’ll always have dull wheels.

I have a 20 year old set of Alcoa’s on my Schiada trailer and when they are polished they look better than chrome.

Thanks Budman, the old Schiada is a work in progress but the triple trailer is done. Got my priorities right, LOL

I should have mentioned. I had a set of American Racing on my vdrive trailer a couple years ago. I literally had to polish them every single time I launched. Maybe some people aren’t as OCD as me??? Maybe that stuff doesn’t bother everyone. Even after I’d polish them I was never satisfied. I literally hated those wheels. [emoji1418]

No stock local on the chrome or the polished. I wouldn't put a -18 on though.

Thanks Spectra Bash,
It's a solid boat that has very little use and the rigging was good for 1982.
It's been out of the water for 14 years so I am getting ready to start the restoration in just a few weeks.
I'll let you know about its performance when I am done.

Thought I would update this thread. Brandon @LakeMead Boater was able to locate all 5 wheels and get them mounted up. If your in the Anaheim area needing tires or wheels I would recommend hitting him up. Thanks Brandon. Also what to send out a thank you to Sean @Headless hula for doing all the research on offsets and sizes for tires and wheels. Worked out perfect Sean. Another thank you to Marc @SFV2RVR for the spacers to clear the bearing buddies so I can run the caps. It took awhile to get them installed because I decided to replace the fenders with polished stainless and they had to be ordered . It was worth the wait.
