.., Was staying at a friend of mine’s in Burleson, Texas… And one night we went out and ended up at Billy Bob’s… We’re sitting at the bar ..:there’s myself, my friend, the bartender, and one cocktail waitress. The place was just weeknight empty… My friend says …you know who owns this place and I said …I have no idea???… He said my cousin… I went Oh…huh???… so he told me his cousins name which it was something or other Kinross…And I asked the bartender… Does he own this place and he said yeah, …he’s one of the three owners … I later found on the net…Mr. Kinross’s money salvaged the Stockyards and Billy Bob’s possibly in the early 80s …I don’t know for sure???… the other two partners were artist/historical preservationist people…We haven't been to the stockyards in over 20 years. Dunno why, just had other places to go we liked better.
Early Fords and Chryslers had serious AC problems with the switchover to R134A and the Popular Explorers had several bad components as well. I'm told he made a fortune with aftermarket kits to cure all this. He had a cure for everything AC if the story is true..., Was staying at a friend of mine’s in Burleson, Texas… And one night we went out and ended up at Billy Bob’s… We’re sitting at the bar ..:there’s myself, my friend, the bartender, and one cocktail waitress. … Billy Bob’s is the biggest bar I’ve ever been in… Mr. Kinross made his fortune in aftermarket automotive air conditioning systems…
…Thanks… my friend who I was visiting in Burlison Texas actually rented a place from Mr. Kinross his cousin… I think my friend paid $200 a month… a bit of irony here…my friends name was John Kinross Holt… son of Dr. Willard Holt… never asked him why his middle name …which is the name everybody called him by …was the same as the last name of his cousin ???…he was one of us Malibu hippies in the house with the indoor pool…A graduate of Oklahoma University, and rumor has it. He never cracked a book and was a straight A student… started law school and decided he didn’t wanna sue anybody… so that was the end of his college career…Early Fords and Chryslers had serious AC problems with the switchover to R134A and the Popular Explorers had several bad components as well.
