He's got one of the baddest Schiada's out there.. He can do whatever he wants! :D

As well it looks like the freeways are about to split, so maybe he got over, and then passed someone etc..

Just asking, no joke intended, how does that cover not scratch the gel? Do Schiada's just have a super thick gel coat to not worry about wind/dust/rubbing at speed?

No this is the one rigged by GT.. Prime Marine Billet on the transom and dumps, custom fiberglass hatch by Kornowski.. It's one of the best looking boats out there IMO>

Custom Canvas / Ron's covers fit so tight they don't move around much..

I use painters tapes on the belly strap on mine though (just in case)

I've said it a hundred times, I'd rather buff out these so called rub scratches then have to replace cushions or an engine hatch that blows out. I never towed without a cover.

Fair enough, I haven't towed a boat outside of Parker/Havasu in 16 years either, so was never a decision to use a cover, was just curious for those that do have to to from So. Cal. :thumbsup

The cover has an inner felt lining. Also I would rather spend the money and get a bitchen cover than clean all the road grim off the interior!! That boat belongs to Joe Morgan :thumbsup

Mine rudder guard sits super low even with a drop hitch. Pretty much scrapes on every bump. From what I hear, its like a firework show driving behind me on ride road at night :D

I see nothing wrong with him towing in the fast lane as long as he is going 75+

Most of all other states have 70-80 mph speed limits with no towing speed limit. Cali is the only state filled with a bunch of sallys that would complain about him in the fast lane. Now if he was only going 60 mph in the fast lane, then get the Fock over! :D

You mean the same top of the line boat owning, big warehouse storages and no one knows what he does for a living Joe Morgan?:D

He has to have the longest line of top 10+ rated boats for rigging/power from Jet CP's to Ultra's to this:thumbsup

With Joe's money, tickets to him are like buying M&M's for me...chicken scratch

For those that don't know.....

California Vehicle Code Towing Sections
?21655 You must tow in the designated lane, usually the right hand lane, except for passing. When passing you must use the lane directly on the left of the designated lane.

In a 4 lane situation, the two right lanes are OK, the third can be used for passing only and you should never be in the far left lane.

3rd lane not ok for passing. Was with a buddy who thought that, and got ticketed on the 15 coming down Cajon pass. 2 big rigs side by side doing 40-45 mph. He went into the 3rd lane (towing a baja bug on a trailer) and passes them at 55 mph. Got pulled over and ticketed. CHP said 2 right lanes only.

You are right. I just looked it up on CHP website:

"On a highway with four or more lanes in each direction, you must use the extreme two right lanes."

I think that might of changed in the 27 years since I got my CA DL. :p

It is at the 15 and 10 interchange where 4 lanes keep going North and 2 on the far right go East and West. Figured since it was a bad ass Schiada most would be good with it!!:smackhead

My Cole had a soft almost sheep skin cover that went under my main cover so it would not touch the gel at all . Always towed with it and never a scratch .

Been that way for at least 25 years I've been driving truck. Where they get u is on 3 lane freeways. You must be in right lane only except to pass

OK, Thanks. I thought I remembered seeing a diagram showing 4 lanes the way I explained, but it is very possible I got 3 and 4 lanes confused.... confusion is another side-effect of age. lol

You can tow in the left lane with a triple axle trailer.

I wish they stuck to that law ...I hate when one truck is doing 1 mph faster than the other and pulls out to pass .
