Shark Air filter..............anyone have any experience with one? I bought one from COSTCO, Shark NeverChange Air Purifier MAX with Remote, Two Odor Neutralization Cartridges, & Pet Pro Filter. When it was delivered on last monday we set it up right away. It has a LED readout of the air quality with 3 ranges 0 - 69 poor, 70 - 84 fair and 85 -100 excellent. It's rated for a 1450 sq ft area and we have it in a ~900 sq ft area. After 24 hours of running the air quality never got higher than 55.......called Shark tech service and was told the unit must be defective..............they will send another unit after I cut the power cord and send them a picture of the cut cord.............seemed strange. After a 30 minute discussion they agreed that they would send a replacement but it would be a cheaper smaller unit!!! The unit I bought is listed as available on their webpage but they claimed it's not!! Finally I gave upon them. Called COSTCO and a replacement will be here Monday. Lesson..........SHARK customer tech service SUCKS!!!! Anyone reading this ever have one of these units?
