Firefighter Charged With Molestation

Jailed On $1 Million Bail

A Ventura County man who prosecutors say is a County firefighter is facing 7 counts of child molestation. 41-year-old Gary Taylor of Newbury Park was in court briefly on Monday afternoon, but did not enter a plea. His arraignment was continued until Thursday. Taylor's bail was raised to $1 million and he remains in the Ventura County Jail. He stand accused of molesting a young girl over a long period of time until she was 13 years old. The alleged incidents were reportedly back in 2000, but he is just now being charged. If convicted, Taylor could face up to 30 years in state prison.

Stogner V CA ruled that PC Section 803(g) (3)(A) ( basicly what happend is they passed alaw saying that there was no limit, it got challenged and went back to the 10 years. this happend in 03, the law was passed in 94)was illegal and that went went away. The current law is 10 years from the victims 18th birthday. Beleave me, I wish I didn't know about this stuff...

I am afraid with any sex crime you are by no means innocent until proven guilty. Good, bad, or indifferent that is just how it is.

This does have the tone of revenge to it.

We will just have to wait and see.

Like posted on PB I hope he gets what he deserves. (If innocennt I hope he gets his life back and if guilty I hope they lite him on fire before running him over repeadetly with a tractor.

In a case like this is it basicly word vs. word or is there medical tests they can perform to prove abuse?
