as André the Giant has successfully held the record for the most Beer consumed in a single sitting for the last 40 years!!! During a six-hour period back in 1976, André drank 119 standard 12 ounce brews in a pub in Pennsylvania.... whoa. Think about it: 119 beers in six hours. That’s a beer every three minutes, non stop. That’s beyond epic. It’s beyond the ken of mortal men. It’s god-like. When he “quit drinking” he still drank five bottles of wine at dinner. According to an interview with David Lettermen, Andre the Giant once “quit drinking” to get to a trim 475 pounds. During this period, he would still drank three to five bottles of white wine with dinner.

Back in college we attempted to complete the century club. It consists of taking one shot of beer every minute.

It doesn’t sound like much but it equates to one beer every 7 minutes or so. I think I got to about minute 60 or so before tapping out. The good old days…

We tried this at the sandbar years ago. It is a lot harder than it sounds.

Oh man Dan do i have a cute story.... I was bouncing in college on Fri/ Sat in Fla at a rock n roll bar in 1980... it was aknown hangout [I later learned] for the wrestlers of that era... It was called the Level Three cause it had three floors and a live hard core rock band each weekend. The owner told us bouncers that anyone who was a pro wrestler could get in without cover charge.... I said how will I know... he laughed and said You'll know idiot.... so there was a huge steel door at entrance and one night maybe 3 weekends into my employment there was a thumping at the door I stood by inside... I opened it to stand looking basically at a guys chest... I'm 6'7"/ 285 at that time.... I slowly looked up and it was Andre.... he said in his accent 'You let me in?" I froze and pulled to the side getting out of his way as he walked past with some skinny young thang looking terrified on his arm. He was wearing those torn clothes we all saw him on tv wearing and I saw a new Trans Am arked there [still dont know how that fucker fit in there].... those beast would go up to the 3rd level and by nights end after drinking would basically destroy the furniture so there was a lcolored light system that each floors bartender had to alert us bouncers to come up and handle anything... well fuck, the top floor where the wrestlers hung out was red and none of us wanted anything to do with that so we'd rochamboe to see who'd venture up. They were always cool and not violent to us "Boys" but for $6/ hour and all the pussy you could handle it was scary times. Great memories

Are you trying to say that Andre was anything but a gentleman to his woman? That does not sound like Andre.

7 1/2 beers in an hour?

What a fun new game! Certain to make more than a few people blow chunks at your next party! 😆
The way to kick it up a notch is to give high alcohol content to the other guys. The kids call it 60 in 60 and they typically do it one night of our snowmobile trips to Montana.
