I got stuck in that crap going west. Jumped through the fast track barriers and got off at yorba Linda and shot up the to 57 to 70 so I was far away from the mess.

No...it was a thought though. I fucked around on side streets for an hour and a half trying to get around it going eastbound, then ran up to the 60 to get back home. Pretty much everything was fucked, with brief periods of doing the speed limit. My clutch knee hurts after that shit.

I was thinking if he shot himself in the car, they can just winch it up on a flatbed and take it in for processing rather than the middle of the freeway

That would make way too much sense. I was stuck in one these for some asshat sitting in a Ford Explorer.. If the cops tell you to exit the vehicle, they should get one chance. Then forcibly remove them and get the fucking lanes back open. If they die, They won't do it again. Fear needs to be reinstalled in the common criminal.

That seems normal. Used to take 7 hours to go from Torrance to Hesperia on a non Holiday Friday.

Yeah, kinda forgot it was memorial weekend until I saw an all the boats being towed…lol.

I make this run once every week or 2, I’m usually home by 11:00 if I leave the house at 8…that’s the best time usually, misses most of the traffic both ways.

I guess that is what everybody did. We left OC @ 5pm on Friday and took the 40 Fwy and got to Havasu in 4.5 hours. I was shocked, lol. Besides the normal Cajon Pass Clusterfuck there was hardly any traffic going on the 40E @ 7pm.
