Does anyone know of a good shop with reasonable labor prices to install a "Bolt On" air bag suspension system on my 1964 Chevy Impala SS in the Temecula area?

I just had a 4-wheel disc break conversion system put on the car and it took 3 different places to get it right and I do not want to go through that again.:grumble: The company that did finally get the breaks installed correct are way to busy to fit in my car right now so i'm looking around for other shops.

I'm basically just looking for a clean install "Labor price" as I will supply hopefully %100 of the parts as a bolt on kit.

I would post a photo of the car but cant figure out that part of the website..

Thanks.

My friend has gnarly '63 wagon in Eastvale, and there is a fabricator he used just recently to install all new suspension on his 66 chevelle. What is nice with a guy like this is that so much "bolt on" stuff seems to require modification these days. He had issues with a caliper bracket on this particular project, got it straightened out though. If you like, I can ask for the contact info.

Nice wagon, yea I would like the info if he is somewhere close to the Temecula area?

I think I figured out how to upload a photo, lets see if this works.

And yes my rims are straight out of the 90's:D They will be replaced with some 20''-22'' staggered "Intros" after the suspension, I want the suspension done first so I know how big and deep in the rear I can go.<---LMAO sounds just wrong!!!
And for the "classic white wall original guys" who are going to say " I would leave the original rims on the car", well they no longer fit after the disc break conversion.

Thanks, I will look them up, they are a little far out of my way but if they are a good company I have no problem bringing it down there as this car is a good daily driver.

Twisted Vistas by chance? My favorite wheel.

PM riverdave and see if he has the contact info for Wired for Sound. There local and I bet they could handle it for you.

I have a guy in central CA that is really good and reasonable but that's a trip and a half. I imagine the labor to install wire/plumb a full air ride kit won't be cheap. You should do it yourself?

not Temecula but call hoppos in chino. they are mostly hydraulic but they'd be fools to not get into the bag game.

If it was me, I would use bonesfab here on the board. He is a dealer for RideTech, and does a LOT of this kind of work.

Buying all your own parts just to have someone do the labor is not the best idea...

Who's gonna warranty any problems with it? If it doesn't come out right, who's gonna pay to fix it? Way too many things to go sideways.

He's no where near you, but if you want it done right, you can see from his web site he knows what's up with air suspension. :thumbsup

Hoppos is at THE top of the game hydraulic and air suspensions. Iv known Art since Jr high school. His rigging and set ups are far above and beyond what others can even dream of. Do it once, do it right and get on the list. Or hit him up cash deal, all though there's plenty of that in the low rider field of rides :D
Go into his shop and talk to them there. I'm booked 9 months or so out myself, but someone calls and says I'm willing to wait or squeeze me in where you can, and we generally make it work one way or another
Guess it really depends on type of finished product your going for, if it's a kit, bolt it on and call it a day:thumbsup

Bring it over to Jendro's Customs. 42274 Rio Nedo, Temecula. We're pretty booked right now, but I'll talk to Brian in the morning about it. Brian is basically the guy that invented bagging cars back in the 80's.

Bolt it on already, I bought a bolt on kit from Air Ride Technologies for an 04 Chevy Dually. Had about 500 miles on it when I ripped all the stock suspension out of it. Fun garage project.

Thanks for the plug Rivermobster.. Yea I know a little about air bags.. I have them on my daily and two others. We actually have a 61 Caddy convert and a 66 Lincoln convert in the shop now we are doing with bags.. We are up in ventura county though.. A little far away.. Be careful of "bolt on" kits. They never seem to bolt on. Also don't buy the cheapest kit you can find or it will cost you more in labor to "make it" fit. I am a Ride tech and Accuair dealer.. Let me know if I can help.. Jim These are my three that are bagged.. The wagon is my daily driver..

Devious Customs great shop and great work and affordable

X2

Jeff and his guys used to do some really nice stuff. Everything from custom to Kustom.
I haven't seen him or been to his shop in a couple of years, I was going to go by there the other day since I was in the area, but i ended going home.
