Can’t believe this has not been posted.
Was sent to me by a buddy who loves his Skater. I think he is trying to spend my money :)
If my daughter did not start wakeboarding last year, I would be considering an upgrade.

Single engine or twin 300’s, this could be a great Havasu, Parker boat.

Some days I think about going over to the lumber yard, buying a stack of wood and locking down in my wood shop for a few month to build a plug and make a mold😂

Other days I think that may not end well and is a really bad idea 😂

Any of you ballers on here want to fund some dumb shit like that and don’t care about the costs, I’ll be your huckleberry. I don’t really have a preference on what to build, air entrapment or displacement is fine by me.

I'll tell you back a while ago I went to the poker run up in the Delta's. There was one of them little skaters out there running out in the open water. It was rough and I will tell you that that thing ran like a perfectly trimmed out airplane! That look like one hell of a fun boat and it was running 125 all day long.

The article states it is intended to run one outboard. It looks like this will specialize in the new 450+ hp Mercs. I wonder if it will get a small center pod.

Interesting to see that they are making the molds out of wood as DBC is doing it the new school way. I see pros and cons to both. I imagone the cost is much lower old school but timeline better new school. The details of DCB are impressive and I double that you can put as much old school ways. Either way looking forward to seeing how this comes out and the look of it. Anyone see a rendering of the design? I did not see it in the article….. 🤷‍♂️

Peter is old school. All Skater hulls are built using wood.
The difference this time, Peter’s son built it in CAD first, then they moved into the wood build out

I have always wanted a 28 stoked to see what the 26 can do. Tunnel looks deep like a 28.
