View attachment 733642 I know to most of you this might be sacrilege, but my wife HAS to have an open bow for what we do, and I’m not the kind of guy who “needs” to go a zillion miles per hour. Basically, my uneducated question to the Schiada faithful is, how many of these are actually out there? The pic is from a powerboat listing ad that I’m guessing is older than dirt. Unicorn??? Thanks in advance.
Agreed, I’ve been looking at 210’s as well, it’s on the short list. Just wondering why an open bow version of the “holy grail” is a bad idea? Not trying to be a dick here, but schiada’s are about the grip deck. You’d be money ahead to find a nice 210 Hallet.

Like I said in my original post, I realize it’s a non-standard configuration. But I wouldn’t be hauling the mail so to speak with peeps up front anyhow. If it’s not worth the cost of owning a Schiada I get it. Just thought it was a cool and rare boat, and curious if there are a few out there. Can’t say for certain with the schiada, but I know Stoker mod vP are very sensitive to Weight up front and you definitely don’t want an open bow. I couldn’t imagine the open bow RT handling right

I know zilch other than what I’ve read here on RDP. Are there any other Schiada’s that have been built as open bows? RC’s?A couple things. One, I know Lee and Stan have RT’s and love them. Lee owns Schiada, Stan is the main guy there. That tells me something. Sheila (who works for Lee), and her husband had an RT open bow walk through with a 525. It was a really really nice boat, vacuum bagged carbon fiber layup and decolite material for the interior construction. That boat was pretty much one off. They are building a 24 vdrive now but I know they loved their old boat.
I have a couple friends with 21rt’s as well and they seem very happy with them. [emoji106]

It seems they aren’t exactly “common” for sale, let alone in open bow configuration. Please hit me up if you come across one. I know enough to know you happen to come across just a few boats for sale.Sure. Lots of open bows. They certainly aren’t as common, but yes Ive seen open bows in just about every size I can think of?

You dirty rat!View attachment 733696 View attachment 733697 View attachment 733698 View attachment 733699 My old mans 24 is sliced open. Open bow walk through. It’s a beautiful family boat that has more room than you can imagine. It’s even known to tow closed bows from time to time. Haha

Well there ya go. Info from someone who knows, versus opinions.A couple things. One, I know Lee and Stan have RT’s and love them. Lee owns Schiada, Stan is the main guy there. Thanks for the info. Luckily I’m in no rush so I can afford to hopefully find one someday. I have my eye on a cherry 210 as well, but again prices are pretty inflated right now. My strategy is to stay patient, keep on the water with our current boat and hopefully score on both fronts!I’m biased as I own an RT but I love mine. They run well with power and ride great in the rough. I have seen several open bow models over the years. Alexi at Boostpower had an open bow with around 650 to it and he told me it ran in the mid 90’s. As far as the 210 goes my dad and uncle have matching 210’s that are Bow riders and they are awesome boats. The RT rides better in rough and at speed.
That black and blue 210 that’s for sale looks pretty sick! Thanks for the info. Luckily I’m in no rush so I can afford to hopefully find one someday. Jim and Sheilah’s Rt was an awesome boat I always remember riding in it and how our flip flops hovered in the mid cabin of the boat They were literally suspended in a air vacuum in the boat That boat could fly but couldn’t keep up with my 21rc twin turboA couple things.
