Really surprised they didn’t post in here yet. This weekend! All boats welcomed.
Unfortunately that’s my cousins. They’re not coming this year. Only my son and I this year.Such a cool run. I’ll make it one year…
P.S. I hope you make another YouTube video of it.
That will be some bad ass father and son bonding. Really cool, enjoy!Unfortunately that’s my cousins. They’re not coming this year. Only my son and I this year.

Hope so. He’s been playing with the trim when I’m driving. Lower river is stressful compared to havasu. Lots of turns. That will be some bad ass father and son bonding. Really cool, enjoy!
Usually I get an rv spot and stay for the weekend but this trip is going to be a mission for me. Leave Oc to Parker, grab boat and head to Blythe. Boat all day and back to Parker to drop off boat and head home. Going to be a long Saturday.I have yet to hit the lower river. Is it a one way trip and you need to head back up river after the event?

You should go, it's an awesome day of boating. Totally different vibe down there and its great scenery. I'd be there if I didn't have a party to go to in SLC.Dude I was going to say since I live so close now Ill drive out to Blythe to help out but man you are going to be on whirlwind mission! I agree and it is on my list for next year. I haven't ran that part if the river in years and now that we moved to Texas it is going to be a long haul but worth it.Such a cool run. I’ll make it one year…

The run starts at McIntyre Park and runs about 45 miles or more to S beachs, the photo ChrisV posted. Most will hang there for the day before returning to McIntyres for the after party. Some will come up from Lake Martinez and hang out at S beachs.I have yet to hit the lower river. Is it a one way trip and you need to head back up river after the event?
As long as you can read the water and stay in the deep channel or follow someone that knows how you will be perfectly fine. I see large i/o boats and wakeboard boats down there all the time. I have seen howard 28 deck boat. Ultra 27 shadow, 25ft daytona, 24ft warlock deep vee boat etc. Nice part is there are no rock bars down there, it is all sand bars so if you mess up and hit a sand bar there is no damage to your boat.I wish the lower river had deeper water. I’d be down for this now that I have outboards
Interesting. We grew up going to lost lake at times. I just remember it having to be 10 or 11 to launch so maybe that’s the worry I have lolAs long as you can read the water and stay in the deep channel or follow someone that knows how you will be perfectly fine. We use to go to Lost Lake when we were kids as well and it is much more shallow up there then from Blythe down to Lake Martinez. You would do just fine doing the Lower River Run in your boat. A couple years ago Milk Money did it in his Schiada 21RC with an outdrive. Also when Oldschoolboats had his outboard Shockwave 22 deck he did it without issue. I say plan it for next year if you want to do it.Interesting. We grew up going to lost lake at times. I just remember it having to be 10 or 11 to launch so maybe that’s the worry I have lol

Getting ready to leave McIntyres
So people actually put some hours on their boat that day? It’s a fun day of of boating but it’s a long day in the sun. The year I went it was 118 or something. 10 hours of hot air in your face.

View attachment 1385498 This was ours at the last Lower River run we did before selling.
Nothing like waking up at 6am, running to Fisher's, losing steering, trying to drive back in the sun to lose it again, then idling back, hitting a sandbar, clogging water intake and having to be towed for an hour back to Fisher's. Then having your wife have to ride back with someone else and towing an empty trailer back to Fisher's from Blythe while waiting and having cocktails at KAPs pad! Driving back with the boat at midnight and rolling into our hotel at 3am. First Lower River Run we did was so awesome!! Memories for days. Got it fixed and had an epic Sunday on Havasu after all that.Oh yeah You’re driving all day
Who's got the 19' OB Placecraft? I have never seen one of those before and bet it would be a fun boatAt S beachs
