Yo
I knew better. I don’t have the right spline key. Rolled the dice anyway. Getting it handled but I won’t make the launch time.
You still have an hour and a half to the bouys but then could launch at Princess instead and still easily meet at Cottonwood.

Damn what a day. Thanks @BHC Vic for putting this on. It was fun running with everyone today. We pulled off about 345 at Katherine’s what a shit show. Took boat back to havasu and just pulled in the driveway back in eastvale. Vic you get after it in that cobra!

Didn’t take a whole lot of pictures, sorry fellas.

Was great putting some faces to screen names.

Fun day after the tire fiasco. Running back across the basin was fun. Mohave is gorgeous and the water seems far cleaner than Havasu. We found a little cove on the way back in and floated for a bit. Probably my most favorite day of boating, scenery wise, ever. Thanks for keeping this thing going @BHC Vic.

I agree water was much cleaner than havasu no doubt. Scenery was amazing as well. I remember slightly before willow looming back and I just see your boat trimmed on rails catching all of us. It’s beautiful.

That was a great run! Water was perfect. I have some pics and videos I’ll go through when we get home. I ran pretty hard on the way back from cottonwood. The warlock lost his lower on the way back so we gave him a ride from cottonwood and I wanted to get there quick 😂

Great time running with you all! Have always wanted to do the run, & will definitely be doing it again. Burned a lot less fuel then I thought, only 50 gallons. Stopped by gasoline alley & a cool cove across from Katherine’s landing to float in for a few hours on our way back. Thank you @BHC Vic for organizing this 👍🏻

Looks like such a great day and a blast. I want to do this one of these years. Thanks for posting up how much fuel you guys used. Could you also list your boat and engine size. We have a Hallett 210 with I think 70 gallons but a large engine. Wondering if we have the range. Will have to run the fuel down this year to confirm. I believe that I could do the springs to Topock two on one tank.

Thanks for giving Him a ride. Last trip He saved my Weekend with a midnight impeller change. It was 124 that day and probably still 110 when He swapped it for me.

Thanks! Yeah yesterday was the first time I ran that boat full throttle. Didn’t take the time to put the bimini up until we caught you guys, so fuck it! It was glass across the basin trying to chase you guys down so it was a bit sticky, but man what a good day of boating.

If it wasn’t for that part of it I think I could have made it on gas, but I lost my nerve and topped off one side at cottonwood.

We had a great day, I wish we could’ve beached it and hung out but we had to get back.

Hope I didn’t scare him, I didn’t let off the throttle 😂😂

Yea but 70 through the basin in a 23’ hits a little different 😂😂
I hear ya.
Last time I crossed the basin was at midnight during a monsoon in My old 22' Ultra. Spent the night before driving in circles so it wouldn't sink. And decided to leave the house boat to avoid doing it again. Crazy ride back to the Marina.

A great day it was. No prop strikes or break downs but my buddy lost $2,500 on craps at the Aquarius and then, to add insult to injury, he lost his $700 bi-focal and his hat running 87.

Water was flat running north in the AM

@FlyByWire has an amazing looking 28 FunDeck and the pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful in person.

@HNL2LHC Tim in my boat 23’ 496 mag. I’m about 2.3 mpg. Cruising about 45-50 first half and then 30-40 second half up. Reverse on the way down.

I hold 60 and come back with about 5-7 gallons sometimes more if I slow down a little.

You should do this run with us over forth of July!! It’s a lot of fun

210 Holds 80 Gallons. You would be fine. That 509 is actually good on fuel.
