Today was a GOOD Day!

I've kept this boat project quiet, but she is so close to hitting the water!

Took my 2018 Schiada with a Merc 400R Outboard to Quality Performance Marine in
Corona, CA today. They are a Merc Certified Shop that completely knows what they are doing! I have never experienced a shop that was so on point with everything needed to be done!

Over the years, I have never used Quality Performance Marine. Well today, they made a customer out of me!

If anyone needs quality work done to their boat in So Cal, I fully recommend Quality Performance Marine Phone: (951) 735-5503! Thanks again guys!

Today, my new hot biatch fired up for the first time on my new Schiada!

After she was dialed in at QP, I dropped her back off at Schiada for the install of the Interior!

She should be getting wet for testing in 2-3 weeks!

Awesome!!!! Quality marine is top notch. Only issue I ever have is they are to busy to take on short notice work.

Maybe a dumb question. But why couldn’t Schiada finish rigging the 400? Just don’t know the reason for moving it and having someone else do it.

I knew this boat was being built. Just didn't know it was for a member. Very cool! I'll be anxiously awaiting pictures of it floating and running.

And if Lee is gonna take it to his house to test it at Naci, lemme know!

That's gonna be a hot bitch. The latest generation of Mercury outboards are just killer.

I hope you and your family have many years of pleasure in this beautiful boat.

That’s a beautiful setup. Just took my boat there last week, solid.

Anju,

I got to be honest, I've been having wet dreams about your boat. How come the steering wheel is on the wrong side? :D
As of now, Merc only makes rigging for starboard steer with the 400's!

Wana know something funny? My cracker, mini schiada and 21 schiada are all right hand steer!

Test first. May not need them with trim/jack on the outboard. The bottom is recessed for caves plates if I wana go that route as well! There is a aluminum filler in there now

Good looking set up. Transom support was definitely considered.

Nah.... For us normal people that are right handed..... That's the correct side. [emoji16]

1. For improved visibility for the "Right of Way" starboard front quarter.
2. To offset (With driver's weight) the right hand prop torque rotation which can cause the boat to lean to port.

Pretty boat. I like the look of only fenders and no step pads on the trailer. Are those slide out steps in front of the fenders?

What is with the bars on the rear of trailer?

The steps have a pin and slide out!

The bar the the back is to protect the motor from cars that get a little to close to the 400R.

Ya... I'm paranoid with other moronic drivers on their phones in traffic!

Very nice. I have the same type of steps on my trailer. I really like them.

The engine guard is a good idea.

Interesting how the rear hatch will be side hinged, a little different. I'm curious, why a RC and not a 21 RT? Wouldn't a RT ride better and be faster? Or was the 400 to heavy for the RT?
