Saturday, May 19th (18th-20th), there may or may not be a few of us gathering up at a little known place in Lake Havasu, known as The Nautical Beachfront Resort. I have called the resort ahead of time to let them know we would be coming. Janice (at the Nautical), has been kind enough to give a substantial room discount to anyone that would like to "Hangout" with us. Just mention the dates and your make of boat (wink wink), and you should be obliged. It just so happens that Janice really likes Schiada Boats and their owners. I will follow up with more info as it gets closer. Be sure to get your rooms and beach parking spot locked in ASAP, as they will sell out quick. Thanks.

I think this is gonna be a good deal! There's a lot more Schiada owners in Havasu then most know.. I see them all the time being pulled around town or on the lake. Granted it's nothing like Parker, but still good.

ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! You can’t book rooms or spots till tomorrow. Janice at the Nautical is putting everything together for everyone. So call tomorrow morning to get your spots. I already have people calling and texting about rooms, so they will fill up fast!!

This is not the official Schiada Natta Regatta. I’m assuming that one will still happen at Parker in September-ish.

It just took some patience. They are having difficulty with their booking system, phone and online. But in the end it was taken care of.

Hey guys and girls...so I called The Nautical yesterday and apparently there are only two rooms left in the 20 room block that comes with a discounted rate, and I’m sure the beach spots are running slim too. So get on the phone and get your room and your beach spot booked before they are gone. Have a great weekend!

Not to be Debbie Downer, but the weekend before Memorial Day is often when they do the OUI checkpoints to get ready for Memorial Day in Havasu. 2 Years ago I got pulled over in Parker (I was fine, no issues), but they pulled us over and said they were training for Memorial Day and had new guys on the boat with them for that purpose. From what I learned after the fact, they didn't follow proper procedure with me. I was shocked at how long they hassled me even after showing no signs of impairment... except for my Buddy puking over the side of the boat while I'm being tested. Ha ha.

Anyway, looking forward to two Schiada events this year. Thanks again.

I’m glad to hear you will be there. Seems like it’s gonna be a hell of a turnout. Definitely don’t drive to and from Parker and Havasu if you’ve been drinking...or anywhere else for that matter. Safety first everyone.

Only a little more than a month away guys and girls. Saturday, May 19th 10am in the cove at The Nautical Beach Resort. Bring your wife, husband, girlfriend (not both), kids, coolers, beach chairs...oh and your Schiada. Its a family affair. Around noon or so we are gonna pack up and head to Pirate’s or Topock. Don't know about you guys, but I'm really excited. Although it was fun to see the craziness and the big boats of Desert Storm, this old daycruiser was feeling a little out of her element i think. Well...5 more days till Havasu (3 days for us). Hope you all got your rooms squared away, boat spots reserved, rigs cleaned up and ready for some good ol fashion fun on the water! I don’t know about you, but I’m excited. Can’t wait to see you all there. Meeting at 10am in the cove at The Nautical Beachfront Resort this Saturday. We will be departing between 12-1 for Pirate’s.
