Ducks should handle the Wings in 5 games. Expect the Blackhawks, Kings and the Sharks to win round one match up's as well. Would be nice to see all 3 Calif. teams in round 2.

Ducks vs Kings playoff series is long overdue and if outcome noted above comes true that will be one hell of a round 2 match up!

The Ducks could surprise some people this year but no way they take the wings in five even tho they look a little tired this year, looks for a seven game series. Also i dont think the Sharks are going to beat the Canucks.
Personally i would like to see either the Kings vs the Bruins or the Hawks vs the Penguins or Montreal in the Final.Its going to fun thats for sure !!

I hope the Kings...err QUEENS and Ducks both advance to the conferance finals, TV might not enjoy that match up.....but F-em....


The Kings are hot (like last year) heading into the playoffs..... the Ducks need to shake themselfs off and start playing like they were during most of the season... if they play like they were..they'll win it ALL (they beat the Hawks, both times with shoot out wins)...

IT SHOULD BE SOME GREAT HOCKEY PLAYOFFS!!!!

Last night had the 4 best games of the playoffs back to back to back to back - 4-3 Ranger over Caps (with Ovi missing a layup to tie it with 15 seconds left), 3-2 Kings over blues in OT, 4-3 Boston over Leafs in OT (and Sharks pass to round 2) followed by Ducks 3-2 win over Wings in OT! All 4 games were unbelievable, I love this time of year!

Hope Ducks and Kings close out their series on Friday - then we have 3 Calif. teams of the final 4 in the West and we have the long awaited Ducks vs Kings playoff series - that will be a great series (assuming they both take care of business first, still too early to count out the Blues or the Wings).

Every team has goons,they need them,but Torres is a stupid MFer. He did the same thing when he was with the Coyotes and got suspended for 25 games. He should find a new line of work.

I think it was over 10 years ago when the Wings won the cup back to back. Its so hard to repeat all the teams are so good. All the games are 1 goal differential. Your not going to see like it was back in the day with all the goals. Defense is too good and the goalies are unbelievable. I like the way the Kings were talking in the intervies after the game, saying we havent done anything yet, you need to win 4 games to advance to the next round. GO KINGS GO
