Well my latest boat doesn't require a 3/4 Ton truck to tow it, my Tahoe gets the job done fine. This truck will just end up sitting and not being used, Therefore I might as well sell it.
So, Its a totally loaded truck, every option available at the time, heated leather seats. It would be called a Denali today. Its in outstanding condition for 2002. Its 6.6 Duramax with about 206,000 miles. With the greatest tranny in the world... Allison... its a towing beast. It has been leveled with Bilstein Shocks. It has not been lifted. The bed is Rhino lined, and I have a nice rubber mat, that prevents things from sliding around. Its been babied from the day I owned it. Majority of the miles put on it, where by my son, who used it to commute to college. We did tow a our big boat a few times a year. That was only for maintenance purposes, because it was in a slip in San Diego. So once a year this truck towed a 8000-9000 lb boat from San Diego to Murrieta. So we could perform annual maintenance on it. And we would use it to two a small boat for a two week camping trip once per year. Other than that, its just been a tool to go get shit at Lowes/Home Depot. Its never been used for business. Just our personal truck for Boating and House chores.
We have had to replace the power steering hoses, and typical front end steering parts. That was done within the last 5000 miles. It has a very nice exhaust system. Rear Diff and Tranny have Oil Cooler covers. The tires are practically brand new (Falken Wild Peaks) and new rear Bilstein Shocks. It doesn't need a thing, just a new owner to take car of it like we did.
Giving the RDP members first shot at it. $14,500 or best offer. If it doesn't sell to RDP I will throw it up on Craigslist in a week or so. PM me your number and I will call you to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
In my opinion the 2002-2007 models are the best ones to buy... They dont have all that modern day smog crap, and still get good fuel economy. They can still be hot rodded, and pass CA smog. Its located in Murrieta CA...
