First, the history on this boat. This might be a first on this site, but yes it is a Galaxie. From what I know, Galaxie was a family owned custom boat builder in Fontana, CA. They are out of business now but we had a great relationship with Tim and Jason of the Earnhardt family. We owned their 21’ and loved it so much that when we heard they were planning to build a new 25’ and that we would have the first one out of the mold.
They used our boat in several boat shows. But then for reasons unknown to us, they really downsized their business and eventually closed. For a 25’ the boat really feels big and you sit deep in the seats. Nice to have a 25’ with drop out seats. We also converted the boat from closed to open bow. They did a really nice job as the bow is huge and can fit a bunch of people. You also have 2 seats in the mid cabin. By looking at the interior pictures you can see all the hardware this boat has.
The boat is in perfect condition and was never run hard as the wife was never a speed freak. The top speed on this boat is 70mph. Everything works on the boat and the gel coat is like the day it was built. We had a baby about a year ago and with other priorities the boat has been stored indoors at our house in Havasu for the last 2 years. We brought the boat home to Corona to sell.
I know it is not your name brand boat, but this boat was built with a lot of detail and handles the rough water really well as it’s a straight deep V. Whenever we had the boat on the water in Havasu, people were always curious because the boat was really unknown. When they looked the boat over people were very impressed. We are sick to think what we put into the boat. But tough times in the boating world forced me to price it to sell. I have no problem if someone wants to get the boat inspected as I said the boat is in new condition and everything is working. Have pink in hand.
