What's up guys, I have acquired a new to me 20.1 Stoker with a 2.5 merc 280. It has a 20" mid section with a sport master lower on a hydraulic jack plate. Currently running a Mazco 26p 3 blade. Seems this prop is way to small? Curious as to what others are running? I feel like the boat could spin a 28p no problem. Or, would my application warrant a clever style? Not sure what kind of mph and RPM range i should be in. I'm still learning the boat so I haven't been wide open throttle yet but just curious as to what others are running. Thank you for any input! Indeed it is time for me to "try a different prop"
Pic for attention. Cheers 🍻

I believe when John was building his props the RE3 came out of a 26-pitch mold and he would repitch it up or down.
If your near Havasu Gibbs knows these props well. I had Ron Hills guys work my RE3 24 that I got from John before he retired.

If you want to sell it I'd be interested.
