After 10 years of ownership I've decided to sell our Howard. It's been a great reliable boat after I stopped taking it to Teague for service.
It's a 22' shallow-V, not an Offshore. It's got a Mercruiser MPI 350 with 300 hp connected to a Bravo 1 outdrive, so it's pretty effiecient. The prop is a tweeked 19 by Bronson Hill. All services are done at the beginning of each season so it's due for a service. There's no scrapes or gouges, the interior is not perfect, but looks pretty good for a 14 year-old boat. Its got a Sony head unit with a 6 CD changer, twin Alpine amps and a subwoofer. It sits on an Ellis trailer with the "Low Package" which consists of wider chrome fenders and modular wheels. The tires were replaced a few seasons ago, no cracks or tears. The boat is in storage in Parker so there aren't too many miles on the tires or the trailer. It's got a towing cover and bimini top. I am the second owner of this boat, it was built for one of Gene Willen's friends and I went through Gene and Mike to buy the boat.

I'm looking for around $20,000 or reasonable offers. This is a perfect, quality-built boat for someone starting out. I'm heading out to the river next weekend, I'll shoot some more pics.

I always really liked those boats. In 2003 I searched for months looking for a good used one like this. Good luck with the sale, someone will be very happy with this.

It's going on consignment at the end of the week - Now's your chance to get a great deal on a great boat and cut out the middleman, plus it'll be freshly serviced.

Make me an offer, I may surprise you.

Can you post a pic of the interior. Can't get a good look at it from the ones you posted.

SOLD! See I was motivated

Congrats:thumbsup. This is the only boat I've looked at on here that the battle axe was actually interested in..... Needless to say I couldn't convince her in time.

How much did you get for it????

$15,000 - A guy showed up with a wad of cash, sight unseen, how could I say no?

If I put up for sale on consignment and sold it for $18,000 and after all dealer's fees I'd still be at around $15K.
I'm sure if I held out I could have got a few grand more, but now I've got cash in hand for another boat - gonna look at a Howard 22 Offshore on Saturday.
