This is the holy grail truck California owned non bastardized . Has a 3/5 bell tech kit non c notch w helper bags . Roll pan and tonneau with nice stereo . Clean tittle no issues .
They only made 26 in 97 and 98 of which Less than half were 2WD 5 lug .
Have original window sticker and conversion sticker.
125,000 miles

Looking for $24,500 possible boat trade or old resto?

I should have bought this truck when i had the chance at $8k.
Good looking truck however it’s a 8 lug 3/4 ton not a 1/2 ton . Centurion conversion

Truck is in Ventura county Ca Very clean low miles 2 owners. Super rare if you know what you are looking at.

Pretty cool

Factory crew cab or the aftermarket job mod???

I remember looking into that era CC SB at a dealer years ago.. they wanted +20k for the aftermarket mod

Factory , look up centurion conversions done for the dealers . There were only 25-27 made in 97 and 98 of which most were 4x4 so very rare . Clean carfax no accidents .

in 1997 and 98 they build 26-27 of them by centurion conversion company sold at dealerships. Of the 26 or so less than half of them were 2wd. Centurion was more famously know for their for door Bronco converison in the late 80's early 90's. Basically they took a 1500 extra cab , stetched the frame 15 inches ( similar to limo companies) and added a 2500/3500 cab to them. most were all the LS trim cloth 60/40 combinaiton. The only other major included option was the CR lawrence power sliding rear window.
So in the end you have a crew cab regular bed 1500 half ton . They glide down the road and you still have a standard 5 lug 2wd. This one is the 5.7 vortec with all options. Has a nice stereo w 2 10/s dual amps etc. roll pan, tonneau cover, hidden hitch and rear helper bags if you want to tow.

Great looking truck. wished it was in my stable of rides. Might want to reconsider lowing the price. If you still haven't sold it at the original asking price from over a year ago you are probably overpriced. However, what's worth a million dollars to one guy, isn't worth a dollar to the next guy. You just need the right ass for that seat 🤣 GLWTS....still

Just curious why the centurion conversion would bring more dollars that the factory ones built towards the end of the body style in 99 and 2000?

I could be wrong but I think they didn't offer a crewcab 1500 from the factory. If I remember right these were basically crewcab's from the HD 2500/3500 put on a 1500 chassis and sold as a factory option.

I think you're right. Seller does seem to put a lot of emphasis on this being a 1500 5 lug, smooth 1/2 ton truck.......... I can see the allure in that but having to lengthen the frame would negate the value added benefit of the 1/2 ton in my opinion. One thing we all DO know is the single reason this super clean truck hasn't sold.

The alure of these is the rarity. It was such an expensive option not many were made. A person looking for a Centurion is who is going to buy this.
