1983 Honda 70 ATC's

I am selling 2 ATC's, we are the original owners. The tires are original so that tells you how much they have been ridden.

They have been stored indoors for 99% of the time, both run and started on the 2nd pull, they made a trip up the street this morning, both still have the metal gas tanks and are fairly clean. One has a new carb the other was rebuilt. The reason for the hew carb was we couldn't find the O/H kit we had but found it after we got the carb. I've seen these at 4500 but I don't think these are there so I am asking $3500obo each, I'm not firm, hit me up.

You’ll get that or close to that for the one that looks untouched if you have all the paperwork to go along with it. The dent in the tank might hurt the value a bit but nothing a quick tank swap can’t fix lol. Glws mine has been a money pit

Ok I had to start somewhere, I've seen asking prices above 4k , a couple have reposted but one that was 4800 was removed 2 weeks ago and hasn't come back up. The wife posted it on a couple FB groups and they are animals. Most are saying too much or low balling to be assholes and one even started stalking my wife. No one understands OBO, shoot me a price and see what we can agree on.

Here is one for 1550 and it is junk compared to mine.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it won't go for 1500 unless it doesn't need any work but I have been looking for a few weeks and was surprised to see what was being asked what had to be reposted and what wasn't, like you said everything is at a premium right now and I had to start somewhere. Not on Craigslist yet because I didn't really feel like dealing with the scammers but I am going to do it tonight or tomorrow. I was hoping one of the FB groups (2 honda groups) my wife joined (and has since left) would have been better but it was just a bunch of keyboard cowboys, one called my wife a "greedy bitch".

I don't know who those guys are and if they are trying to lowball me and turn around and sell them for a grand+ more in a week. If you guys (RDP inmates) told me you should be more in this range I would listen because I know you guys and we try to help one another out, they were like piranhas over there.

I got mine for free from a family friend so I can’t really chime in from first hand experience but what I can tell you is this, there is no middle ground with these. You’re either selling a showroom floor unit where the buyer will leave it unmolested and put it in his collection or you’re selling a project where the buyer is going to ultimately throw on a ton of billet and a drop in 190 in it. Everyone and their mother is doing the latter and building these things to be adult friendly.From the looks of things, you have one that will sell for around $2500k if you swap all of the good parts on to it. The other one would be sold as a project and would fetch ~1800. $3k+ is Christmas special money. A crated 70 sold for almost 4K I think. Tell your wife to join this group and they will get sold/they’ll give you real world pricing on them right now. You might also have luck listing them on the desert whips page. I know dudes were looking for them on there as well.
